In EIGRP Stub SIM, why are route (10.2.2.0/24 and 10.2.3.0/24) manually summarized to 10.2.0.0/16 instead of 10.2.2.0/23 ?? The correct summary route is 10.2.2.0/23, not 10.2.0.0/16.

10.2.2.0/23 covers both 10.2.2.0/24 and 10.2.3.0/24, and no other routes.

A network administrator is troubleshooting a redistribution of OSPF routes into EIGRP.
    router eigrp 1
    network 10.0.0.0
    !
    router ospf 1
    network 172.10.0.0 0.0.255.255 area 0
    redistribute eigrp 1
Given the exhibited commands, which statement is true?

    A.
Redistributed routes will have an external type of 1 and a metric of 1.

    B.
Redistributed routes will have an external type of 2 and a metric of 20.

    C.
Redistributed routes will maintain their original OSPF routing metric.

    D.
Redistributed routes will have a default metric of 0 and will be treated as reachable and
    advertised.

    E.
Redistributed routes will have a default metric of 0 but will be treated as unreachable and not
    advertised.

In dumps, the answer is B, but I’m sure that the correct one is E.

    @TCP-Connect EIGRP 2 OSPF redistribution

OSPF defaults to E2 routes (seed cost 20) for redistribution if no cost was entered
(except for BGP – seed cost 1).

Regarding EIGRP stub: I suppose that you could use 10.2.2.0 /23. It’s more exact. I’m guessing the simulator accepts /16, too.

    B. IT is unable to route multicast traffic.
    C. It supports FTP traffic only with an ALG.
    D. It is unable to route VRF traffic.
    E. Layer 4 supports TCP only
The correct answer is B and D

Restrictions for Configuring Stateful Network Address
    Translation 64
    • Applications without a corresponding application-level gateway (ALG) may not work properly with the
    Stateful NAT64 translator.
    • IP Multicast is not supported.
    • The translation of IPv4 options, IPv6 routing headers, hop-by-hop extension headers, destination option
headers, and source routing headers is not supported.
    • Virtual routing and forwarding (VRF)-aware NAT64 is not supported.
    • When traffic flows from IPv6 to IPv4, the destination IP address that you have configured must match
a stateful prefix to prevent hairpinning loops. However, the source IP address (source address of the
IPv6 host) must not match the stateful prefix. If the source IPaddress matchesthe stateful prefix, packets
    are dropped.
Hairpinning allows two endpoints inside Network Address Translation (NAT) to communicate with
each other, even when the endpoints use only each other’s external IP addresses and ports for
    communication.
    • Only TCP and UDP Layer 4 protocols are supported for header translation.
    • Routemaps are not supported.
    • Application-level gateways (ALGs) FTP and ICMP are not supported

    B. total stubby
    C. stubby area
    D. Totally not so stubby area

I would go with B and C, because its what a i like to call “a cisco question” is what they want you to answer, the NSSA and Totally NSSA are valid too, but in this case you could say that Stub and Totally Stubby are more valid because they permit less LSA, and also they dont mention anything about type 7 LSA

    Area Type Permited LSA´s
    Stub Area 1,2,3
    NSSA 1,2,3,7
    Backbone Area. 1,2,3,4,5
    Totally NSSA 1,2,7
    Totally Stubby 1,2

A network engineer wants to baseline the network to determine suitability for rea|-time voice

    A. ICMP-echo
    B. ICMP-jitter
    C. UDP-connect
    D. UDP-jitter
    E. TCP-connect
    F. UDP-echo

    @Dan_2_One
    Question 17. Prince 91q
Answer is C. Because the router BR1 configures stub eigrp (makes it unable to receive queries). So the querie packet only goes to the HQ R1 router.
