    Q761
What show command is used here?

TCB Local Address Foreign Address (state)
    6523A4FC 10.1.25.3.11000 10.1.25.3.23 ESTAB
    65239A84 10.1.25.3.23 10.1.25.3.11000 ESTAB
    653FCBBC *.1723 *.* LISTEN

    A. show tcp brief
    B. show tcp brief all
    C. show tcp brief numeric
    D. show tcp brief ip

    Ans: B

Take note of the last line with the word LISTEN. In order to get the LISTEN state, you must enter the command sh tcp br all. There is nothing like sh tcp brief numeric in any version of Cisco IOS.

Reference:the output below is from my WAN Edge (Cisco ASR 1006) in production ( I have removed the actual IP addresses)
    #show tcp brief ?
    all All end-points (even listeners)
    numeric Numeric Display
    | Output modifiers

    #show tcp brief all
TCB Local Address Foreign Address (state)
    7F1B2850B168 x.x.x.x x.x.x.x ESTAB
    7F1B28DD40F0 x.x.x.x x.x.x.x LASTACK
    7F1B26D0E7D8 x.x.x.x x.x.x.x* LISTEN

    #show tcp brief
TCB Local Address Foreign Address (state)
    7F1B2850B168 x.x.x.x x.x.x.x ESTAB
    7F1B28DD40F0 x.x.x.x x.x.x.x LASTACK

sh tcp br command does not show the LISTEN state

    @Ahmed
I agree with you. Q761 the correct answer is “show tcp brief all”
I have checked in Cisco 7609 and Cisco 10K. Both the result are the same, the command to show LISTEN part is “show tcp brief all” NOT “show tcp brief numeric”

    CISCO7609#sh tcp brief all
TCB Local Address Foreign Address (state)
    2716B590 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX.33198 ESTAB
    2A0FCD20 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX.179 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX.27377 ESTAB

Which location within the network is preferred when using a dedicated route for Cisco IP SLA operations?
    A. user edge
    B. provider edge
    C. access edge
    D. distribution edge
    Correct Answer: D

The correct answer is B – provider edge
    Reference:
Dedicated routers are most appropriate when the deployment plan calls for the operations to be sourced from the edge of the core network (ie: Provider Edge [PE]) location in a Service Provider network. The Cisco 1700, 1800, 2600, 2800, 3600, 3700, 3800 and 7200 Series Routers are frequently used as dedicated routers.

what is the answer for Q620

“which two causes of latency are true?”

A High BW on a link – could cause latency
B Split Horizon – could cause latency
C Prop Delay – what is prop delay, never heard of it
D Serial Delay – what is serial delay, never heard of it
E Under-Utilization of a link – nothing slowing anything down

I am wondering for this question:
    QUESTION 418
Which action can you take to mitigate unicast flooding in a network?
    A. Configure VLANs to span multiple access-layer switches.
    B. Implement a nonlooped network topology.
    C. Set the ARP timer value to less than the CAM timer value.
    D. Set the CAM timer value to less than the ARP timer value.

I think the right answer is B. (instead of C)
Flooding cause are: asymetric routing, SPT topo change, FW table overflow
to mitigate asym routing: ARP timer = CAM timer value (so C and D are false)

It is highly recommended to learn the Theory behind the answers. Memorizing dumps will lead you to getting eaten alive by real network engineers on the outtage call. You better have answers for the bosses as to what happened, why, and how to prevent it again or you won’t have a job for long. I’ve been studying theory on ccnp route topics for 8 months using Pluralsight, figured out how to use GNS3 finally to set up my own labs for testing, use 3 different testing mechanisms digitut, pass4sure (which is excellent at backing up answers with Cisco documentation but i haven’t actually seen any of the questions here on Pass4sure but I believe they really aim now to help understand theory) and now just bc i was curious to see the hype dumps from nnneettwwoorrkkiinngg, but it’s important to confirm answers are correct through searches of Cisco documentation. If you understand the theory, it doesn’t matter what questions you run into.

“Hello Guyz , for Q620 – latency cause, definitly the answers are: C. Propagation delay, D. Serialization delay”

    Latency
Latency is the amount of time for a message to go from point to another. Network latency is the amount of time for the packet to travel the network from the original source to the final destination. Several factors can cause latency, including propagation delay,
serialization, data protocols, routing, switching, queuing, and buffering. The flow control and reliability features of TCP have an effect on end-to-end latency. TCP requires an established virtual connection, and bidirectional communications for acknowledgments, window sizes, congestion control, and other TCP mechanisms, all of which has an effect on latency. UDP is a protocol that does not include reliability or flow control. A device simply sends packets with UDP segments with the assumption that they will reach their destination. UDP is typically used for applications such as streaming media that require minimal delay and can tolerate occasional packet loss. UDP has very low latency, better than
    most TCP connections.

Guess I have to agree, all could cause latency, but C & D seem to be the best answers.

@JOCA the correct answer for Q620 is CD and so is in the v2.1 VCE file as well. The thing is that in the comments box of the VCE Player says that the correct answer is BE but the chosen answers has to be CD to be right. That Comment Box is not ok with the correct answer in the Player itself. They don´t match all the time.
