I passed today! It took me a lot of time to complete the six labs since I’m a bit slow. Once I finished the labs, I had 30 minutes left, haha.
I spent a significant amount of time trying to figure out why the command “ip flow monitor Monitor-R1Flow input” wasn’t working in Netflow sim2, only to realize that I should be configuring it inside an interface. All that time, in my paper practice, I was doing it like this: R1(config)#ip flow monitor Monitor-R1Flow input.
The lesson I learned is that I shouldn’t just practice the labs by writing them down on paper; I also need to create the lab. At one point, my commands weren’t being accepted, so I had to use a lot of question marks to help with configuration.
I started cruising through the multiple-choice and drag-and-drop questions, as they were exactly the same as in version 1.1. I don’t think I finished because I never pressed “end exam.”
I can smile now; I made it! Thank you!
Hello everyone!
Today I took my exam: 60 questions total — 6 labs and 54 multiple-choice questions (the 6 labs appeared first consecutively, followed by the 54 questions). I remember seeing around 5 to 7 questions that were not included in the “ENCOR v1.1 Questions – Part 3 to 7” (those were the only ones I had time to study 😅). I’m not sure whether they are new questions or part of the updated curriculum, so I recommend studying all seven parts of v1.1, as well as the old version, just in case 😂. Make sure to read the questions carefully and don’t rely on memorizing them. In fact, study the explanations provided here, since some questions are asked differently, but theoretically the correct answer is the same.
Regarding the LABs, one big doubt I had since I started studying (as this was my first time taking ENCOR) was whether it is allowed to use the TAB key for command auto-completion and the “?” command for help — and YES, YOU CAN USE BOTH (which is a huge help for first-timers like us 😂).
Finally, I got the following labs (please read carefully and review the configurations and diagrams in the real exam, since they vary slightly in some cases. However, in theory and overall, the tasks are almost the same as the study labs, so if you prepare them well, you shouldn’t have any problem completing them):
OSPF Summarization Sim 2
eBGP Neighbor Sim 2
LACP & Root Bridge Sim
Access-list & CoPP Sim with SSH
VRF Configuration Sim 2
NetFlow simulation with “HTTP GET operation” from NetFlow simulation 2
Good luck everyone! And study a lot, because in my opinion, it’s much harder than I originally expected 😂. I also feel like I needed more study time, but with the curriculum change, it was now or never (remember that tomorrow is the last day to take version v1.1).
Muchas Gracias digitaltut!, highly recommended ❤️ (please bring the website back so we can study the Wireless specialization XD).
I passed today! I studied Encor v1.1 4-7 part only. I’m not sure if there are any new questions since I didn’t study the old ones and Part 1-3
This is the labs that I got
1. LACP and Root Sim (same labs just different port channel number and different VLANs to make as root bridge)
2. Netflow Sim 1 and 2 (I got a mixed for these 2, Task 1: I need to complete the flexible netflow configuration, without port given Task 2: I need to monitor session on both PC1 and PC2 with a given session number and destination interface. Task 3: configure basic SLA with HTTP GET operation
3. eBGP SIM2 (with address-family command)
4. OSPF Summarization 2
5. VRF Finance (but vrf is already defined you just need to add the Tunnel source and destination it’s like a mixed of VRF corp)
6. ACL and COPP Sim – Telnet
Goodluck everyone!
V1.1 mostly(2/3 questions not) parts 4-7 MCQ and 3 drag/Drop
VRF Configuration Sim – confirm all interfaces that need IPs have them per topology
OSPF Summarization Sim – /17 summary
eBGP Neighbor Sim
LACP & Root Bridge Sim
NetFlow Sim
Access-list & CoPP Sim – ICMP
9tut for the win – passed today
good luck if are taking it tomorrow before version change.
Are the labs in the exam the same format as the practice labs that are web based on this page, as in it shows the different config tiers. For example R1(config)# and R1(config-if)# and you have to fill in the blanks? or do you have to configure the commands on the actual devices via CLI?
in the exam u get emulated devices to configure. its better if u can practice using eve or gns3.
i passed today. thanks digitaltut and the community.
Passed today! I had following labs
– VRF Finance (vrf defined, no need for RD + you need to config accessport with VRF)
– AccessList and CoPP
– OSPF Sim 2
– LACP + Root Bridge (root bridge just for vlan 20, PO21) (you have to shut int, encapdot1q and then sw mode trunk)
– eBGP 2 (no need to activate neighbores)
– NETFLOW 2
Questions are mostly from v1.1 4-7.
I had tried this exact exam 2 years ago and failed becuase there were Finance VRF and new LACP labs which were not here.
ProTip : wait atleast 3 months for new questions and labs to appear on this page.
Labs are exactly same as if you were on older cisco device, just you can close or more tabs EN keyboard layout only!!!
Congratulations. Kudos to you for trying again and passing and that too so close to the end.
It’ll be an interesting few months from now, checking this site and reading the comments of those who take the exam.
Hi!!.. i Pass the exam ENCOR 350-41!!..
digitaltut is the best!!!.. great!!..
Labs OSPF, LACP, VRF, ACL & CoPP, Netflow y BGP!!..
I’am Happy!!!.. Happy!!.. happy!!!!!
Now is a los chango, is not the same case
will the labs and questions be significantly different in v1.2
Someone do v1.2 and let us know lol
I did ENCOR and it was a disaster, all new MCQ and D&D, 6 labs but they are the same
@kingk… they have NEVER changed ALL the MCQ on a minor update like this (going from V1.1 to V1.2 for example), and not keep SOME of the older questions in the pool. Can anyone else confirm this?
King, hongo me Edith fake News. The dame labs and change all question. 600 hundred questuons disparar? Sure
Fake News, is imposible dissapear 600 questions. A hater appears
Digitaltut its time to talk and renew the web. Start versión 1.2 or write something
Has anyone taken the test since the change to 1.2???? Please someone give us an update.
took test today – passed, all simulations are still the same. WIFI replaced with all multicast questions. Drag and drop are the same. I supported a contract with both pim sparse using any cast RP, and pim dense mode (no RP). Bone up on your multicast, understand MSDP also.
Thanks sharpie2! Glad to hear that is the only change. Were the multicast and MSDP questions brand new, or were they the existing v1.1 questions?
@Anonymous – lots of new multicast Q. Saw 2-3 from v1.1 and must have seen 7 or 8 multicast questions. I think as long as one understands basic PIM sparse multicast configs (3 major configurations – global enablement of multicast, participating interfaces with pim sparse configured along with RP or anycast RP. PIM Dense – no RP required, anycast RP require MSDP and solid understanding of BGP as it follows eBGP to advertise SA’s.
@sharpie2, it was announced that they were going to remove wireless and add AI topics in its place. Did you see any questions related to AI or something similar? Or just mostly many more multicast questions? Thank you for keeping us updated on this!!
I watched a video and he explains they changed the topic name from “automation” to “automation and AI”, below is what is under it:
6.1 Interpret basic Python components and scripts
• 6.2 Construct valid JSON-encoded files
– 6.3 Describe the high-level principles and benefits of a data modeling language, such as YANG
• 6.4 Describe APIs for Cisco Catalyst Center and SD-WAN Manager
• 6.5 Interpret REST API response codes and results in payload using Cisco Catalyst Center and
RESTCONF
• 6.6 Construct an EEM applet to automate configuration, troubleshooting, or data collection
• 6.7 Compare agent vs. agentless orchestration tools
Ok, some new questions, but other were from 1-7? Lab the same I understand.
This is an excellent source not only for studying but collaboration but I passed my exam and would like to give a big shout out to Digitaltut! For a brief summary of what I saw below.
Labs:
– VRF Finance
– AccessList and CoPP
– OSPF Sim 2
– LACP + Root Bridge
– eBGP 2
– NETFLOW 2
Questions – There were maybe 6 questions that I didn’t recognize at all but I study from V 1.1 & v1.2.
The new test seem to focus on fabric, JSON, Python, and Catalyst
@zeejay congrats on passing! Do you recall which pools of questions you saw? I noticed they changed v1.2 from 1 – 4 but parts 5-6 still say v1.1… did you get questions from all 7 pools, or just the first 4 parts?
@Multiple choice questions- The questions were coming up so fast and memorizing them so I could fee it back to you all here was a little difficult but I know the questions on the test still came from V1.2 for all part 1-7.
@ZeeJay.. no problem and I get it.. its hard to know exactly which pools all your questions came from.. but it looks like they updated all parts (1 – 7) here on the website, so will just work on studying all the parts.
I passed yesterday. The labs are same but I have 10 new question.
CertsTopic is a reliable platform for ENCOR preparation. It helped me revise quickly and focus on important topics. I passed without stress.
