    Hi everyone,
Do you have any tips on how to study for the lab section of the exam?
I’m taking my exam on February 24th, and I’m not sure how to prepare for the labs.
If anyone has already taken the exam, could you share what kind of lab topics usually appear? That would really help me focus my studies.

    Thanks in advance!

  5. I_PASSED!
    February 21st, 2026

    I passed today!

All the questions from v1.1 are valid! Only about 5 questions came up that I hadn’t seen, but if you study v1.1 you’ll pass! Most of the questions focus on wireless, SD-WAN and Automation!! Study these topics a lot! Total 60 Questions and 6 Labs!

The labs I took were the following:

eBGP SIM2 – Similar lab (BGP with “address-family”) Different AS Numbers (65100, 65200 and 65000 if I’m not mistaken)! All networks to advertise were /32!

OSPF SIM2 – Similar, had to configure OSPF on R30, had to use “network command” and the summarization was with /17 in area 50!

LACP – Similar, it was port channel 10 (I set a “default” on interfaces e0/0 -2) before configuring the trunk and it was possible to use the “range” command to configure the interfaces! Priority VLAN 10, 30, the same here.

ACL & CoPP – Similar, ACL on R10 was number 150 and the CoPP configuration was ICMP. (The Lab does not provide access to PC2 for validation!

VRF – Similar, VRF FINANCE was already configured and in uppercase! It was only necessary to proceed with the Tunnel0 configurations and static routes within the VRF!

NetFlow SIM2 – Similar, in the SW1 configuration, monitor session 5 was requested (if I’m not mistaken) source interface of PC1 not VLAN! The rest was the same!

Good luck to everyone, it’s well worth acquiring premium access, everything is valid and it’s a good cost-benefit to avoid losing the $400 for the exam! However, you have to know the concepts, don’t memorize the answers, but understand why the correct option is the one you choose; it’s easier to learn the reason than to memorize almost 500 questions!!)

I wanted to share that I just passed my CCNP ENCOR exam! A huge thank you to the 9Tut community for the invaluable resources.

Regarding the exam content, I found it very consistent with the current materials. Only about 5 questions were different from the V1.1 dump. As for the labs, here is what I encountered:

    eBGP SIM2

    OSPF SIM2

    LACP

    ACL & CoPP

    VRF (Finance)

    NetFlow SIM2

The labs were very similar to what is discussed here. Thanks again for the help in achieving this milestone!

Passed on 20th of February. I was surprised about the importance of sims. I got all of them right, but only 50% of questions but still passed.

    OSPF SIM2

    ACL & CoPP
    VRF (Finance)

    March 2nd, 2026

can you share some of the questions?

  17. McFly
    March 2nd, 2026

Managed to pass in the last few days. Ospf summarisation /17 with network command. Acl & Copp summ with Icmp. NetFlow with flow monitor & source vlan on monitor session. VRF Sim 2 with Finance vrf already pre-configured, could only ping from Sw11 to end of the tunnel, couldn’t ping to other switch. eBGP2 same but had a x.x.x.17/20 ip address as a network to advertise. LACP just 2 interfaces in port channel, had to do no shut to bring up the tunnel. You could just learn from Encor 1.1 part 4-7 on the questions and be ok, all relatively new. There was a new root guard / bpdu drag n drop question with 2 core switches & 2 access switches, 7 gaps to fill which was tricky. Gl to all new takers.

  18. Sen
    March 3rd, 2026

@McFly What do you mean by all relatively new?

Encore v1.1 ends March 18th 2026. They are stripping out the wireless into another cert track. Encore v1.2 begins March 19th 2026. I really hope the only change is they remove the wireless questions, but I doubt it.

  22. Anonymous
    March 4th, 2026

@Anon.. usually for minor version updates v1.1 to v1.2 for example will not change significantly, probably will add a few questions about AI to replace the wireless questions. All other questions and labs are more than likely going to remain.

  23. Anon
    March 4th, 2026

@Anonymous…Thanks for that info. I was very concerned when I stumbled across that post that it would be a complete overhaul. Now I will sleep a little better tonight. Thanks again!

I passed the exam today but there were at least 10 questions that I haven’t seen before… I only studied v1.1 Part 1 – 7, so not sure if they were from the old question pools or if they are actually brand new questions…
    Total 54 questions
6 Simlets: VRF Sim 2, eBGP Neighbor Sim, OSPF Summarization Sim, LACP & Root Bridge Sim, NetFlow Sim 2, VRF Configuration Sim 2.

Thank you DigitalTut, planning to take ENSDWI at some point this year, I hope you guys can update the questions for that one as well soon.

Passed my exam today. 8 Labs and 60 question. all the LABs and questions here are valid. i would say if you can pass Composite Quizzes in practice most of the time or get above 85% you be fine. labs take alot of time so best practice them quite a bit to save time. I had just 30 minutes left to do my question once i finished the labs. Thanks Digital Tut

Took the exam this morning – had 6 simulations and 56 other questions. The last simulation of extending vrf CORP failed to respond to show run or config terminal – so I skipped it hoping I got the first 5 sims and at least 95% of the MCQ and drag and drop. Passed regardless of the last simulation. Thanks Digitaltut

@Digitaltut – Is the exam questions changing after March 18 2026 ? When when will the new questions be updated for V1.2 ENCOR under premium ?

  30. zzz
    March 9th, 2026

I took the exam a couple of days ago.
The simulation questions were the same as the ones everyone listed here.
For some reason, the BGP lab asked me to configure a peer group. I think I didn’t do well on task 2 for VRF. However, I passed, so I realized it’s important not to give up until the end. Thanks, Digitaltut.

@el_vato – had the same symptoms – but using show run, the commands CLI were in place so I clicked on submit. One other observations, the CLI that shows up after one configures a switch or routers, Cisco adds other verbiage into the CLI.

@NXTO i currently use router 1921 to type the commands by example Netflow si7m 2, commands for sw 1 I used a sw 3560-CG for monitor session and packet tracer for ip sla 1.

I just study 1-7 v.1.1 and shared labs
    eBGP SIM2

    OSPF SIM2

    LACP

    ACL & CoPP

    VRF (Finance)

    NetFlow SIM2

I hope pass like others… Premium Member is the best way to recert…

Just got the exam and passed today. Huge thanks to @Digitaltut

6 Lablets and 54 questions (MCQ, Drag&Drop) Some questions I have never seen before like 8 to 10.
    – LACP & Root Bridge between SW1 and SW2, access only in switch 1.
    – Access-List & CoPP – SSH instead of ICMP
    – eBGP SIM 2 – Address-family IPv4 – Different ASN # from the site, but the config is the same.
    – OSPF summarization for VLAN 40 and /18 – Network command is not allowed.
    – NetFlow SIM 2 – monitor session from/to both PC1 and PC2
    – VRF SIM 2 – different IPs, but same config from the site.

If you understand labs and study part 1-7 v1.1 will pass like me. some DnD. but I repeat try to resolve correctly labs. 6 labs 54 questions.

I think questions is not so important like labs, I was tired and response a lot wrong questions.

    VRF (Finance)
