Share your ENCOR v1.2 Experience

Passed, thank you Digitaltut as always, it’s been more than a decade already helping me passed the exam !

6 Labs were exactly same with others.
ACL & CoPP (EIGRP and SSH)
Finance VRF (only R22 and SW22 can be accessible, so be mindful to remember the tunnel creation cli commands, * i used to just copy the config from R11)
eBGP address family
OSPF Summary (no network command and /18)
LACP and root bridge
Netflow (put destination address into the flow exporter, create session monitor and simple HTTP SLA)

got around 10 or less new simple MCQs regarding QoS,EIGRP/OSPF and Automation, 1 new DD for EIGRP/OSPF (answer is OSPF = link state, IP protocol 89, EIGRP = distance vector, IP protocol 88)
I only studied v1.2.

How long can one take to go over the Encor v1.2 material and be ready for the exam, is 6 weeks enough?

Just passed. Only v1.2 prepared.

Netflow /it’s so awkward. I’ve already configured the port, but my flow monitor was still inactive. So I thought that there’s other config to activate the flow monitor. I lost many point because of it/

Just passed. Prepared with only v1.2 questions.

1. VRF Configuration Sim (no tunnel protection. Extending the CORP VRF to VLAN 100 and 101 did not work for me. There was a pre-existing weird looking static route on CORP VRF. I tried but with no success, so i moved on)
2. OSPF Summarization Sim (using network commands and /18)
3. eBGP Neighbor Sim 2 (with address-family)
4. LACP & Root Bridge Sim
5. NetFlow Sim (Just add dest IP. Dest IP provided. Monitor sessions to and from both PC1 and PC2. simple HTTP SLA)
6. Access-list & CoPP Sim (EIGRP ACL and COPP with ICMP)

About 10 new questions. In the labs, i couldn’t do copy paste configs with the mouse provided. I ended up wasting a lot of time typing (mistyping) configurations, especially the IP addresses.

@mp2005 same. i wasted a lot of time here and on the LACP lab. but i moved on. many qos and ntp related questions in mcq but fortunately passed

Passed exam. Similar to users in the last couple of weeks, I had these sim’s

4. LACP & Root Bridge Sim
5. NetFlow Sim (Just add dest IP. Dest IP provided. Monitor sessions to and from both PC1 and PC2. simple HTTP SLA)
6. Access-list & CoPP Sim (EIGRP ACL and COPP with a telnet ACL for the class-map)

About 10/15ish questions I hadn’t seen before, but they were ok. Those newer questions were on policy-based routing, SD-Access, Catalyst Center, SDWAN, NETCONF, YANG (know all the components of YANG), is about all I can remember.

Passed exam today. Score report says it is preliminary. Exam was similar to recent users’ comments. Be sure to understand concepts as labs are slightly different, e.g. I had /17 on the OSPF Summarization. Also my Netflow didn’t work as I used small case “f” while existing configuration used capital “F”. I had to erase my config and re-enter command with correct case. Be sure to double-check to ensure the IPs and all the parameters are exactly as the sim requires. This website has been a big help. Good luck on your test.

I passed today! I prepared only with v1.2 questions

1. VRF Configuration Sim with tunnel protection, extending the CORP VRF between routers and only missing parameter was the vrf config inside the tunnel.

Just passed on my 2nd attempt. First was after Netacad v9 course and I was Clueless in Exam. Then came to know about Digitaltut. I would say 100% lab sim are from here and 50% questions are new.

I passed yesterday. 6 Labs were exactly same with others.
I did prepare from other source.

ACL & CoPP (EIGRP and SSH)
Finance VRF (there is a catch, as soon i changed the uplink to ISP to vrf Finance, the existing bgp went down. It made sense, because the
bgp was in gloabl. I assigned a random rd to the vrf Finance and then reconfigure neighbor and advertise the pre-configured network
under address-family ipv4 vrf Finance. BGP came back. There is one more config, “tunnel vrf Finance” is also required under the Tunnel interface to make it up).
eBGP address family (neighbour IP activate)
OSPF Summary (no network cmd, use ip ospf PID area XX,and area XX range /18)
LACP and root bridge
Netflow (Enable flow monitor on router’s egress interface , session monitor, and IP SLA for icmp-echo for Switch’s loopback)

One last thing, i prepared for wireless part also. there was not a single question from wireless. I think even wireless is removed
from the cert.

i practiced V1.2 only and composite quizzes and new labs do i need to practice v1.1 questions as well

I took and passed the ENCOR exam today, October 20, 2026.

LABS (Similar to what’s provided here):
– OSPF advertisement without network command and summary address /17
– CoPP and ACL
– VRF FINANCE and GRE Tunnel
– eBGP using address-family
– Netflow and IP SLA
– Trunking and port-channel configuration

* Plenty of automation/programming (JSON, Netconf, Rest API, Python)
* Plenty of SD-WAN and SD-Access

Hi, did any of you found v1.1 questions in the exam? I wanted to learn only the v1.2 questions due to lack of time :) Also do you think is it enough if I only practice the labs on this site, directly in the simulations, ot should i do it in a programme? Thanks

passed today same as other on labs. Below, also a lot of questions from the 1.1 so go through these also, MOST were from the 1.2 but 20 from the 1.1 so worth checking over. It’s not an easy exam so prep prep, and prep some more

Passed. Lot of SD Access/WAN questions and programming. 52 MCs
No wireless.
All 6 labs upfront. Same as the group. VRF sim didn’t go well for me.
Can use tab and “?” In CLI (Awesome!)
