Hi @DigitalTut could you please update the question bank? Many recent test-takers are reporting a lot of new questions not covered here yet. My exam is in just a few days.

I’ve been with you for over 10 years, and you can see my profile. You’ve always been reliable, but since version 1.2, I’ve noticed a lot of confusion. Given my years with you and the number of times I’ve subscribed, as I am now, can you explain why, if you said version 1.2 was the same as version 1.1 except for the Wi-Fi questions, you’re now telling us to also look at 1.1? Aren’t they the same except for the Wi-Fi? Please respond to this long-time customer.

    Hello there,
    Thank you @DigitalTut.
I passed last week studying as a Premium member. I got:

    – 6 labs from ENCORE v1.2 section
    – 59 questions (53 MCQs + 6 D&D), maybe 90% from ENCORE v1.2 section + 6 new questions*. No questions from ENCOR v1.1 section.

    * = surprise!!! : Even though ENCOR v1.2 officially removed all Wireless topics, the question bank still contains some old Wireless questions from ENCOR v1.0 and v1.1.

So yes — you can still get 1–3 Wireless questions, including WLC, CAPWAP, AP modes, or RRM. (I got 2 questions, both about WLC)

    Good luck to everyone!

    Hello guys,

    I passed the exam today.

    Got 6 labs:

    1. OSPF Summarization Sim (network statement)
    2. Access-list & CoPP Sim (SSH)
    3. VRF Configuration Sim 2
    4. NetFlow Sim (add udp port 2055)
    5. LACP & Root Bridge Sim
    6. eBGP Neighbor Sim 2 (/17 summary)

Got around 10-20 new questions. Some I got from the v1.1, so I suggest you check those as well.

Thank you @digitaltut and good luck to everyone!

@Kakarot I congratulate you, I’ll be taking the exam soon too and I’m very anxious, do you happen to remember the labs that came out or if they were similar to digital tut and for the questions so did you find a lot of questions from digital tut’s composite quiz 1.2?

    Thank you

  15. Kakarot
    May 21st, 2026

    @ArthurMorgan Thanks mate.

It seems strange, but I got these labs:

    1. OSPF Summarization Sim (/16 summarization and they asked not to use network statement)

    2. Access-list & CoPP Sim (SSH) (EIGRP lab: use port #22 instead of “ssh”

    3. VRF Configuration Sim 2 (VRF was already there, the task was to configure the tunnel xx, add the static routes and ping the other-side-LAN)

    4. NetFlow Sim (add udp port 2055) (don’t worry if you add the netflow version but the router doesn’t show it because v9 it’s the default)

    5. LACP & Root Bridge Sim (first thing to do after typing “sh run” and before to start configuring something: delete all “switchport access” already configured lines)

    6. eBGP Neighbor Sim 2 (/18summary + lab with address-family ipv4 section: don’t forget add “bgp user-id x.x.x.x” in global section and all activate+network statements in ipv4 section)

Note: exam-labs and DigitalTut-labs are i-d-e-n-t-i-c-a-l BUT IPs, masks, ports may change so If you understand the principle, everything will be fine.

And yes, I had more than 50q from 1.2 section. No questions from 1.1, 1.2 section but like I said, strangely I got two questions related to WLC that I never saw answered anywhere.

Hi everyone. For those who have already done the test, have you done it online or in a test center?

I intend to do the test online, but it’s my first time with Cisco and I’m afraid something goes wrong during the labs. Did anyone have a bad experience doing it online?

    Thank you.

    @Fr21

I’ve tried once…and I didn’t like it. It was stricter than taking it at a test center. Since then, I prefer to travel the 200km-ish between my city and the nearest test center.

    Good luck with that

  20. @Fr21
    May 25th, 2026

    I got 6 Labs
    1. eBGP Neighbor Sim 2 (with address Family)

    4. NetFlow Sim 2 (telnet version)
    5. OSPF Summarization Sim 2 (using network and /20 summary)
    6. LACP & Root Bridge Sim

Do not worry some the questions from 1-7 version 1.2 enough, if there are new questions some like 5-10 all 90% is too easy if u know concepts in general.

    VRF Configuration Sim 2
    Access-list & CoPP Sim
    eBGP Neighbor Sim 2
    OSPF DR BDR Sim
    One of the Netflow sims
    One more I don’t remember

Around 1/2 seemed to be from the v1.2 question pool, the rest might’ve been from the v1.1 (didn’t check). I don’t think I did that well on the MCQs, but did fairly well on the labs. I think the labs carried me. Good luck everyone!

    Passed Exam today 28/05/2026

    6 Labs:
    eBGP neighbor Sim 2
    OSPF Summarization Sim 2
    ACL + CoPP (SSH version)
    Netflow Sim 2 (echo-operation + ip sla)
    LACP + Root Bridge
    VRF Configuration Sim 2

    53 MCQ questions

I dont think I did well on MCQ, it was mix of automation/SD-WAN fabric/infrastructure and bit of wireless but I did very well on the labs
10% of questions not from v1.2 Questions 1 -7 but managed to answer based on knowledge.

Thanks 9tut and GOOD LUCK everyone.

Not sure if anyone can answer this for me, but I will be taking the exam in a few weeks, but had a question. I know it says on the blueprint that the exam is dual stack so ipv4 and ipv6 but has anyone gotten any labs/mc questions about ipv6?

Most of the study materials don’t really cover it that much so I assume it is not a major topic?

    Pass today-6 Labs +53 Qs.
All digitaltut’s labs are still valid and 10-15 new SD-WAN/Access/Autom. questions. I’m not sure if they come from “old questions” or they are totaly new. Honestly, at the end of exam, I did not believe I’ll pass, but I think, I pass thanks to all my labs done well. So focus on the labs the most.
    Good luck to everyones.

    @Absolin, I had no IPv6 questions.

A colleague and I passed the exam on 28/5/2026.
There were 6 labs, as mentioned:

    LACP & root bridge
(Only 2 interfaces on the switch, and for root bridge only 1 VLAN)
-> Check the interfaces in this lab, they are configured as access ports and you need to remove the access configuration.

    eBGP with address-family

    OSPF

    VRF (finance)

    NetFlow
(You only need to add the source IP in the flow exporter – IP SLA HTTP GET)

    ACL & CoPP (with SSH)

There were 53 MCQ questions, with around 10 questions outside the database.
I received my results and did quite well.

I studied for about 45 days. I have other cisco certifications, and i work in the industry for 6 years.

@Absolin: There were no IPv6 questions or labs.

    Good luck with your exams.

  31. netmeup

    Passed

    6 labs
    53 questions (MCQ’s/drop downs/automation)

    eBGP Neighbor Sim 2
    OSPF Summarization Sim
LACP & Root Bridge Sim (make sure to read this/look through)
NetFlow Sim (Netflow exporter is partially configured)
    NetFlow Sim 2 (HTTP GET)
    NOTE:Netflow together
    VRF Configuration Sim 2
    Access-list & CoPP Sim (Telnet)

    Read all IP’s/ID’s etc.

Questions I got were mostly from v1.2.

Studied all questions v1.2,v1.1, and questions on the homepage.
Simulations are relevant, just a bit changed. Able to tackle though.
    All the best!

  32. Shakespeere
    May 29th, 2026

Passed today thanks to all you lovely people and our mutual friend digitaltut.

    LACP & root bridge
    eBGP with address-family
OSPF – Share networks and summarize /17
    VRF (finance)
NetFlow – in my case it was exact same as the lab with transport udp 2055
    ACL & CoPP (with SSH)

I split my harddrive easily and added an Ubuntu linux distro on my gaming PC to run eve ng easily. Download the labs from here and do them. Over and over. If you understand those concepts, you’re golden on the labs. I swear to god if you do whats in this paragraph for a few weeks, you’ll be a CCNP.

MCQ obliterated me. I must have gotten 10 relating to JSON analysis and commands, like 5 EEM ones (including two D and D). QOS was a real killer for me, so pay attention to those.

Look I’m a network engineer with 10 years experience. I only studied for 6 weeks, but before that I failed the NP twice. I CANNOT stress this enough: if you have a PC, buy a cheap 200 gig ssd OR reformat your PC and split the hard drive up. Ubuntu —> Eve NG.

I passed the test using nothing but google and digitaltut, plus my experience. Good luck nerds, I’m rooting for you.

    June 2nd, 2026

I recently passed the exam and wanted to share my experience with future candidates.

My exam consisted of 59 questions, including 6 hands-on labs and approximately 6 Drag & Drop questions. The remaining questions were multiple-choice and focused heavily on automation, programmability, and network fundamentals.

The lab topics I encountered included:

    * CoPP and SSH security configuration.
    * VRF CORP implementation with security policies applied over the tunnel.
    * STP troubleshooting, including configuring the root bridge for VLAN 20.
    * LACP troubleshooting and correction.
    * BGP configuration and verification.
    * OSPF route summarization using an Area 40 /16 range.

One thing that surprised me was the strong focus on automation and programmability. I saw many questions related to Puppet, Ansible, APIs, data formats, and general network automation concepts. Candidates should not underestimate this section, as it represents a significant portion of the exam.

There were also several Drag & Drop questions covering automation tools, SDN concepts, protocols, and infrastructure components.

Overall, I found the exam challenging but fair. A solid understanding of routing and switching fundamentals, combined with hands-on experience in automation technologies, is essential for success.

Good luck to everyone preparing for the CCNP ENCOR!

My exam consist in 6 labs (vrf new lab, ebgp 2, ospf sum, netflow sim 2, lacp, & root bridge, coop and telnet)
i also had 53 teorical question, only 50% from digital tut, but they were easy, except for 4 – 5 very difficult questions
    .

    Hi ArthurMorgan,

Was the VRF Lab completely different from the VRF labs here, or did only the addresses and such change?
Were the questions entirely new, or were they perhaps the questions from v1.1?
    Regards

  42. ArthurMorgan
    June 5th, 2026

    Hi Guest
yes, the vrf was quite different but don’t worry, it was simpler than that of digital tut you just had to set the vrf forwording on the tunnel and on the .100 and .101 sub interfaces connected to the switches, and re-enter the addresses that had already all been entered correctly once this was done it was enough to protect the tunnel through the pre-configured profile.

I think the difficulty was that unlike the simulations in that case you had to work on both routers and therefore waste more time, I found it extremely simpler than creating the VRF, setting it up, creating the tunnel and the static routes, which are already set up correctly.

for the questions I also did some quizzes from 1.1 but I warn you that I didn’t find them and that at least I found the new questions more complex than I imagined and more complex than the digital tut level, but I may have been unlucky the pools are not all the same maybe I caught a tough one, I read comments from people who found practically identical pools, but once again don’t worry if you do the labs, which I warn you are very simple even with not too high scores you should pass.

  43. GoodLuck!
    June 5th, 2026

I passed today and can say that roughly ~75% of the MC questions came from the v1.2 part 1-7.
Heavy focus of the new questions was on QoS, SD-WAN/Access and automation (Python, YANG, RESTCONF, NETCONF etc.)

Make sure to learn the concepts of these focus topics and you are covered.

Regarding LABs, I got the ususal six LABs as most of the people here:
    – Access-list & CoPP Sim (ICMP version)
    – eBGP Neighbor Sim 2
    – LACP & Root Bridge Sim
    – NetFlow Sim 2
    – VRF Configuration Sim 2
    – OSPF Summarization Sim 2

    Good luck!

  44. Wish me Luck!
    June 5th, 2026

for those who took the exam and passed.

If you remember any Q came from v1.1 or v1.2, could you please post them here, so we can all benefit of them and focus on them more, also the Drag & Drop Qs.

I have passed the exam today. About the 75-80% of the questions are in the v1.2 part. No questions from v1.1.
    LABS:
Regarding LABs, I got the ususal six LABs as most of the people here:
    – Access-list & CoPP Sim (SSH version)
    – eBGP Neighbor Sim 2
    – LACP & Root Bridge Sim
    – VRF Configuration Sim 2
    – OSPF Summarization Sim 2
    – Mix between NetFlow Sim 1 and 2. Configure the destination of the exporter. Configure NetFlow Sim 2 in two interfaces.

The new questions are about SD-Access, SD-WAN, 2-3 questions about Python, one about NAT and two about VRF.
    I only remember two questions:
    1) It´s a picture of a Trustsec topology and they asks which network device is the suplicant.
    2) It´s something like this:
    ping vrf “XXXX” 192.168.1.2
    arp 192.168.1.2 —-> empty
They ask why the arp table is empty. Sorry, i don´t remember the options.

Important premise to take the info with a grain of salt because I don’t remember the questions exactly by heart, I could be wrong, however the most complicated question that I remember (I forgot the others, sorry) was an applet where when a new adjacency is revealed in cdp you had to push the neigbor device id into a repository and start a script that executed some commands, the fact is that it seemed complicated at least for me who have never used aplet

    Just passed my exam.
My experience: The labs were easy and the standard ones (VRF2, OSPF2, NetFlow1, eBGP2, CoPP SSH, LACP Root).
There were a lot of new questions—no idea how many—and I was thinking, “Oh my God, what’s going on? This isn’t going to work; I’m not going to make it.” You never really know which questions you got right or wrong, but for anyone who still has the test ahead of them: don’t worry. I have no idea how the scoring works, but I think if you do well on the labs, you can afford to get a few questions wrong.
So keep your chin up and push through ! ;)
