    Dear all,
how is the correct LAB of IPV6 configuration? The networking solution is different from that of Digital

On Networking solution there are some configurations for R1 that missing on Digital Solution

    R1(conf)#interface loopback0
    R1(conf)#ipv6 ospf 1 area 0

How is the correct solution? Please help me…I’m going to do the exam

@Elvis87, where is this digital? Can I have a link?

  10. Elvis87
    November 1st, 2018

@Mosh I referred to the LAB on this site (digitaltut)…I have a GNS3 but the solution of the IPV6 is different… on GNS3 it is necessary to change the OSPF area under loopback 0.

    R1(conf)#interface loopback0
    R1(conf)#ipv6 ospf 1 area 0

Becouse the loopback is in Area 11.

Is this change is necessary for the exam? Or you just need these commands

    R2
    ipv6 router ospf 1
    area 11 virtual-link 3.3.3.3

    R3
    ipv6 router ospf 1
    no area 54 virtual-link 4.4.4.4
    area 11 virtual-link 2.2.2.2

    R4
    ipv6 router ospf 1
    no area 54 virtual-link 3.3.3.3

    Thank youuu :)

Maybe I understand the problem…To make the ping work from R1 to R4’s loopback it is necessary change the OSPF AREA under…but the text of the LAB ask to us only check the “show ip route” on R1

  12. Mosh
    November 1st, 2018

@Elvis87, That’s exactly what i’m going to say. I build the ipv6 lab and you have to put ipv6 ospf 1 area 0 on int lo 0 in R1 to make the ping work but it is not necessary if you only want the FEC0:4::4 to be see in show ip route

    Logging Console7
Which option is one of the effects entering this command on a Cisco IOS router, with no additional
    logging configuration?
    A. Debug messages can be seen on the console by enabling “terminal monitor.
    B. Debug messages are logged only on active console connections.
    C. A user that is connected via SSH sees level 7 messages
    D. The router can experience high CPU utilization

    prince 91 say B. but I think is D

In a point-to-multipoint Frame Relay topology, which two methods ensure that all routing updates are received
by all EIGRP routers within the Frame Relay network? (Choose Two)
    A. Use statically defined EIGRP neighbors on the hub site.
    B. Create separate address families.
    C. Disable split horizon.
    D. Use subinterfaces.
    E. Disable EIGRP auto summary.
    Correct Answer: CD

    I think D is wrong -> In a point-to-multipoint Frame Relay topology, sub-interfaces won’t make sense.

E could be a better option. Your thoughts?

Just a quick confirmation please guys, for the Jazzy AAA DND, we all know that the answer is incorrect, can we confirm that the CORRECT answer is as below:

    AUTHENTICATION:
    – Supports a local database for device access
    – Supports Encryption

    AUTHORIZATION:
    – Enforces time periods during which a User can access the device
    – Specifies a User’s access priviliges

    ACCOUNTING:
    – Verifies network usage
    – Not supported with local AAA
    .
    .
Can anyone please confirm this is correct instead of the Jazzy PDF?

In my opinion, we can use subinterfaces on the hub router in this topology. Because the interface of the hub connects two spoke routers and we don’t use subinterfaces or don’t disable split horizon, the hub router doesn’t advertise the routes which learned from one spoke router to the other spoke router.

    @big O

I am inclined to say 802.1q for two reasons.

EVN runs on trunks, trunks require 802.1q which is an encapsulation technology and is the industry standard.

    Second, see from this article:

    Restrictions for EVN
An EVN trunk is allowed on any interface that supports 802.1q encapsulation, such as Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and port channels.
There are additional platform and line-card restrictions for an EVN trunk. Check Cisco Feature Navigator, http://www.cisco.com/go/cfn for supported platforms and line cards.
A single IP infrastructure can be virtualized to provide up to 32 virtual networks end-to-end.
If an EVN trunk is configured on an interface, you cannot configure VRF-Lite on the same interface.
OSPFv3 is not supported; OSPFv2 is supported.
The following are not supported by EVN:
    IS-IS
    RIP
Route replication is not supported with BGP
    Certain SNMP set operations
The following are not supported on an EVN trunk:
    Access control lists (ACLs)
BGP interface commands are not inherited
    IPv6, except on vnet global
    Network address translation (NAT)
    NetFlow
    Web Cache Communication Protocol (WCCP)

    Q363
Which two statements about Frame Relay Point-to-Point connections are true? (Choose Two)

    A. Changing a point-to-point sub interface to a different type requires the device to be reloaded.
    B. They use two DLCIs to communicate with multiple endpoints over the Frame Relay cloud.
    C. The device can establish a point-to-point connection to the cloud without a DLCI.
    D. They can operate normally without a DLCI map.
    E. Each physical interface that extends to the Frame Relay cloud can support a single SVC.
Correct Answers marked as A and B.

Dont think this is right, 99% sure you dont need to reboot after changing the interface type so thats A out, B seems correct, so need to pick one more.
    I think D, so B&D ?

  30. Helper
    November 1st, 2018

    @LJ

didnt read your question properly the first time.

    D. They can operate normally without a DLCI map. << the term DLCI map is confusing
    E. Each physical interface that extends to the Frame Relay cloud can support a single SVC

    but based on the below:

"a single VC is always provisioned for a point-to-point connection. The same VC originates at a local end and then terminates at the remote end."

Point-to-Point Interfaces can terminate only a single VC and each pair of sub-interface must have a unique subnet.

"only one DLCI can be configured per point-to-point subinterface."

"On point-to-point subinterfaces, you do not need to use the frame-relay map command to perform static address mapping, because it is always assumed that the end point of the point-to-point connection automatically resides on the same subnet as the start point"

    http://www.ciscopress.com/articles/article.asp?p=170741&seqNum=6

    so A & E – in my opinion

Which criterion does the BGP maximum-paths feature use for load balancing?
    – MED
    – LOC_PREF
    – Weight
    – Router ID

    Which is the correct answer?

I think it is a faulty question, because for the BGP multipath we should have routes which have equal attributes (Weight, Local Preference, AS Path, Origin code, MED, IGP metric).
If we would like a load sharing, each of them have to be same value.
So we have 3 correct answer for the original question!
I think the proper question would be “Which criterion doesn’t the BGP maximum-paths feature use for load balancing?” or something same, and therefore the correct answer is Router ID…

I think the correct answer is BE for Q547.
“If neither the enable password command nor the enable secret command is configured, and if there is a line password configured for the console, the console line password serves as the enable password for all VTY sessions.
After you set a password using the enable secret command, a password set using the enable password command works only if the enable secret is disabled or an older version of Cisco IOS software is being used”

I tried them on GNS3. I think the Cisco wasn’t writing the exact text for the answer B or on the real exam the phrasing of answer B is more precise. For example “if both commands are missing from the global configuration, vty lines use the console password for step into EXEC mode”

Hello again! I’m not passed 300-101 yet, just learning. I compared three dumps (digitut (jan), dexter (jan) and 477Q) and came to the some conclusion about 477Q. First, it has a MANY mistakes. Second, they are made DELIBERATELY. I guess there about 7-8% incorrect answers. Another one conclusion abzut 477Q – it has many questions just for solidity. Many questions looks lizke came from another courses, like CCNA, for example. You can save your time if you will start from “Dexter” and then just review an additional questions in 477Q. DO NOT USE 477Q as your PRIMARY dump.

    khaled April 19th, 2018
guys the dumps in which page? i couldn’t find it anywhere ..

    Siegf April 19th, 2018
@asdf it can’t be C and E at the same time IMO. If you do not use “subnets” at the end of the redistribution command redistribute eigrp 65535 , E applies. Eigrp has the “no auto-summary”, you will not receive routes.
    OCG:
    RD1(config)# router ospf 2
    RD1(config-router)xs#c redistribute eigrp 1
% Only classful networks will be redistributed

The other answer could it be A, by default ospf add external routes as E2 metric 20. B could it be too, if you havez a loopback in up/up before the start of the proccess for eigrp and ospf, they will take the loopb ip address.

In which scenario can asymmetric routing occur?
    A. active/active firewall setup
    B. single path in and out of the network.
    C. active/standby firewall setup
    D. redundant routers running VRRP

The correct answer is A 100% sure
    Explanion:
It’s asks about “In which scenario can asymmetric routing OCCUR?”
Asymmetric routing is in most cases a PROBLEM. Other words in which scenario can this problem occur?
    For insant:
    *https*:*//*supportforums*.*cisco*.*com*/t5/security-documents/asa-asymmetric-routing-troubleshooting-and-mitigation/ta-p/3117045
“When a packet leaves thz client destined for http://www.cisco.com, it arrives at its default gateway of the inside interface of ContextA. ContextA then forwards it on toward the Internet where it reaches the server. Then, the server sends its reply back toward the client. When the response arrives at the Router, it is routed to the outside interface of ContextB, rather than ContextA where the original request came from. Because ContextB never saw the initial request and does not have an existing entry its connection table, the packet is dropped and thus the client is not able to establish a connection with the server. Packet captures on the firewall contexts will clearly illustrate the asymmetry, while the client will simply see no response from the server.”

    The solutions mention here:
    *http*:*//*www*.*ciscopress*.*com*/articles/article.asp?p=174313&seqNum=5
“Consider L2 Redundancy as a Workaround

With the careful introduction of L2 redundancy as opposed to L3, technologies such as Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) or Hot Standby zxRouter Protocol (HSRP) can allow traffic to flow throuxzgh a single location while still providing redundancy. This option works best on high-speed connections where the use of only one path instead of two or more does not affect network performance.”

Also D. redundant routers running VRRP would be a solution <– NOT correct
PS Sorry for my bad english:)
