Hello I’m new to this website. Just completed my CCNP switch and targeting route. I’m seeing a lot of comments mentioning MPQ and NQ5 not exactly sure what that means. Is there another sections where we have more dumps?

  12. PASSED!!
    March 29th, 2019

Got a 839/790. 55 questions. 4th time is the charm

    Labs: Redistribution, PBR, OSPF sim
D&D had about 3 this time around

Things I used for studying…CBT Nuggets, Network lessons, ITPRO.tv and went to a bootcamp. Used all that plus the Q&A from here in the ROUTE FAQs & Tips section that you can get in PDF.

Did see some new questions that I can’t remember that weren’t in here or my other material. Not sure if I got correct or not, but if you have the basic concepts you should be fine.

If you get the redistribution lab, here is the easier commands then what this site tells you.

    R2:

Router eigrp 100 (Verify Number by “Sh Run”)
    distance eigrp 90 105
    redistribute ospf 1 (verify number by “Sh Run”) metric 500 1 1 1 1

Router ospf 1 (Verify Number by “Sh Run”)
    redistribute eigrp 100 metric 500 metric-type 1 subnets

    R3:

Router eigrp 100 (Verify number by “Sh Run”)
    redistribute ospf 1 (Verify number by ‘sh run”) metric 1000 1 1 1 1

Router ospf 1 (Verify Number by “sh run”)
    redistribute eigrp 100 metric 100 metric-type 1 subnets

Those commands worked for me. Much easier to remember for sure.

Onto Tshoot and I’m done for the year. May try the CCNP Security next year sometime, but we shall see.

Got around 10 questions not from this site (smth about supernets in ripv2, and snmp informs vs traps) D2d all from this site
Do not recommend to use dumps from nnetworx or douchebag since there a lot of mistakes compared to digitaltut, they obviously intentional. Double check all answers via cisco site.

What is the difference between SNMP traps and SNMP informs?

The a correct answers are A and B!

    A. Only Informs provide a confirmation of receipt
because it sends an “I got it” message with is a receipt

    B. Traps are more reliable than informs because they generate PDUs from the network manager
because each SNMP message contains a Protocol Data Unit
C and D are not valid answers because both traps and informs can be discarded after delivery
E is incorrect SNMP does not use TCP 3 way handshake

What is the difference between SNMP traps and SNMP informs?- Choose two
    A. Only informs provide a confirmation of receipt -is correct
B.Traps are more reliable than informs because they generate PDUs from the network manager-Not correct ,because an SNMP manager that receives an INFORM acknowledges the message with an SNMP response PDU
    C. Only informs are discarded after delivery-Not true ,remember it has to be in memory till it is acknowledged ,so it can’t at this stage .
    D. Only traps are discarded after delivery -( Unlike a trap which is discarded as soon as it is sent..)-correct
    E. Informs are more reliable that traps because they require require TCP three-way handshake..-no handshake here …
The document I read is here : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/snmp/configuration/12-4t/snmp-12-4t-book/nm-snmp-cfg-snmp-support.html. Based on this doc ,the suggested choices are A and D,as stated before

Two aspects of an IP SLA operation can be tracked: state and reachability. Which statement about state tracking is true?

    A. When tracking state, an OK return code means that the track’s state is up; any other return code means that the track’s state is down.
    B. When tracking state, an OK or over threshold return code means that the track’s state is up; any other return code means that the track’s state is down.
    C. When tracking state, an OK return code means that the track’s state is down; any other return code means that the track’s state is up.
    D. When tracking state, an OK or over threshold return code means that the track’s state is down; any other return code means that the track’s state is up.

    is it A or B?

  48. Scolari
    April 3rd, 2019

    @friyey
-The option I would choose here will be A. This is because all the 4 options are related to one concept- state . Immediately you realise that B and D are out ,because they talk about over threshold ,which relates to reachability . Now when tracking state an Ok return code will mean that the track state is up and all other return codes will show that the track state is down. That settles it. If you want some info regarding this- there is a nice article here :https://community.cisco.com/t5/switching/ip-sla-commands/td-p/3020620 . Cheers !!
