    @spice 201) D = checks the ingress access-list

When a packet is received at the interface where Unicast RPF and ACLs have been configured, the following actions occur:
Step 1: Input ACLs configured on the inbound interface are checked.
Step 2: Unicast RPF checks to see if the packet has arrived on the best return path to the source, which it does by doing a reverse lookup in the FIB table.
Step 3: CEF table (FIB) lookup is carried out for packet forwarding.

@thanks111, I agree with you, the answer is “D” for sure.

    @Thanks111 I disagree with you.
The question didn’t say URF was configured along side an Acl, otherwise that answer would have applied.

By default what does URF do, and it checks to see that the source IP address is in the CEF table.

    Guys y’all should look into
question 450 (I see more than one correct answers)
Both TCP Mss and PmTUD are both used to mitigate fragmentation issues between a GRE tunnel, I don’t know why we are made to choose one answer.

    @ Vince ming and bug
    227 is B& C Read why here;
    http://blog.ine.com/2008/12/23/dmvpn-phase-3

    255 D
dhcp relay is to ipv6 what helper address is to ipv4, they are both commands to help clients obtain IP address from dhcp server that isn’t directly connected to them.

    April 4th, 2018

@chuks yeah you are right, checks CEF, which actually generates FIB. hmmm i dont know its tricky, but it doesnt really say, its not configured or it is in default mode?

“What’s uRPF checking first when the packet enters the interface?”

Not really sure to be honest. hmmm

  10. thanks111
    April 4th, 2018

@chuks I am sure that is a mistake in that question, if you look at question 216 its same question asking for 2 answer. as you said it is TCP Mss and mtud. and also question question 89 is similar? Maybe for 450 PMTU doesn’t have discovery at the end lol so just TCP MSS? what you think ?

    For Response to Fail_Boy:

    1. OSPF routers that communicate with other network routers like EIGRP are called:
    >>>ASBR

    2. Single Multi-Homed
    >>>you are connected to two ISPs using single links.

    3. BGP updates will consume less memory—not sure about the question
    >>>prefix list

4.While dealing with Stub and totally stub routers, some rules need to be followed.
    >>>These are the rules>>>
 There should be at least one ABR in the area.
 All routers in the stub area have to be configured as stub router.
 There is no ASBR within the stub or totally stub area.
 The backbone area cannot become stub or totally stub area.

    5. something received by a BGP router from another internal BGP router

@Fail boy, its obvious you didn’t read your textbook.

How can’t you know what Multi homed means?
That’s the Introduction to BGP. That’s a warning sign to those people here who wants to feed on dumps only.

@Thanks111 yea I agree with you maybe its the absence of discovery that sets it apart.

Bgp full update will consume memory, that’s why as an enterprise engineer you ask for partial update + default route so u can influence the best path

  40. chuks

    @Eagle Eye
Pls be very skeptical in that configuration of PBR. This is why I say so.

Its true that if A route doesn’t match the PBR policy it reverts to its NORMAL routing operation.
BUT how do we know that there is a route installed in the routing table that points traffic to isp2?

Its gamble to just set next hop to ISP 1 and stop.
You have to check the routing table to see if there is an already configured route pointing to the ISP2 , so that all non HTTP traffic would be forwarded there.
If there is none, then we must configure another route-map statement matching all IP address that will set the next hop to the other ISP(isp2)

the mistake DigitalTut is making is assuming there is a Route to forward all Non http traffic, there mat be none! Check the routing table on the day of the exam.

Don’t just memorize commands, understand what you’re doing.

    Hello Guys,

Could you please tell me if there are new questions for CCNP exam, is there a new update for dumps or wrong questions ?

    Thanks

  42. Vince
    April 5th, 2018

    Team,

In researching the 477Q dump I came across this site.

    https://www.prepaway.com/cisco/pass4sure.300-101.27040.ete.file.html

I downloaded the software and install the files.

I am shocked at the various new questions that exists. It has all the questions from the 477Q plus many more new questions and various drag and drop for bgp.

    For example,

Path Selection Values >>> show ip bgp
Memory Usage >>> show ip bgp summary
AD of BGP >>> show ip route bgp
Notification, Update >>> show ip bgp neighbor

It even has the corrected response for the EIGRP SIM of show ip Eigrp 1 topology and the reason why.

Now, this is gold. I am comparing the answers with the 477Q.

  43. Beagle
    April 5th, 2018

I took the test and could say less than half the questions on the dump were on the test. There were were similarly worded questions to what I’ve seen before, but had totally different answers. The labs and simlets were still exactly the same.

I’d recommend actually understanding the material so you can adapt.

  44. Beagle
    April 5th, 2018

This one was from the dumps, but modified on the test. It’s not hard if you know the material, but it caught me off guard because I had to read it a few times to spot the difference in the answers.

Which option prevents routing updates from being sent to the DHCP router, while still allowing routing update messages to flow to the Internet router and the distribution switches?

    A. Core(config-router)# passive-interface Gi0/0
    Core(config-router)# passive-interface Gi3/1
    Core(config-router)# passive-interface Gi3/2
    DHCP(config-router)# no passive-interface Gi1/0

    B. Core(config-if)# passive-interface default
    Core(config-if)# no passive-interface Gi0/0
    Core(config-if)# no passive-interface Gi3/1
    Core(config-if)# no passive-interface Gi3/2

    C. Core(config-router)# passive-interface default
    Core(config-router)# no passive-interface Gi0/0
    Core(config-router)# no passive-interface Gi3/1
    Core(config-router)# no passive-interface Gi3/2

    D. Core(config-if)# passive-interface Gi0/0
    Core(config-if)# passive-interface Gi3/1
    Core(config-if)# passive-interface Gi3/2
    DHCP(config-if)# no passive-interface Gi1/0

    ————————————————————-
Now it’s a privilege mode question AND an OSPF question. The answer to this one is C.
