    @CCNP-Exam
    Why couldn’t you summarize to two subnets?
    Didn’t you use command on the interface as ip summary-address eigrp 123 10.2.0.0 255.255.0.0

    Please attension with the OSPF SIM!
    “There’s a new OSPF SIM where they ask you to use “OSPF 37” and configure it on all 3 routers, LA, Indianapolis and Atlanta. Cisco is tricking candidates by setting them to fail as questions/trouble-shooting to get this SIM to work is very complex if you do not know what you are doing. I fixed it though. However, it is a new question.”

    Router names and ip addresses would definitely not be the same in the names you see in the dumps. Its different in the exams that why you are told to know the concept because you’ll see different names and ip addresses in the real exam. sorry about your exam

    A. R1(config-if)#passive-interface GigabitEthernet0/0.
    B. R1(config-router)#no passive-interface GigabitEthernet0/0
    C. R1(config-router)#passive-interface GigabitEthernet0/0

  42. doka
    July 16th, 2018

    @Overdose
    Answer C
    “Using the passive interface command can prevent routers from sending routing updates through a router interface. Keeping routing update messages from being sent through a router interface prevents other systems on that network from learning about routes dynamically. For examples using the passive interface command, see the “Passive Interface Examples” section in Configuring IP Routing Protocol-Independent Features.

    For RIP and IGRP, the passive interface command stops the router from sending updates to a particular neighbor, but the router continues to listen and use routing updates from that neighbor; however, on EIGRP, the passive interface command affects the protocol differently, as explained in How Does the Passive Interface Feature Work in EIGRP?

    “Controlling the Processing and Advertising of Routes in Routing Updates”

    To control the advertising and processing of routes in routing updates, use the distribute-list command. There are two distribute-list commands: distribute-list in and distribute-list out. They are similar in syntax, but the options available to each and their behavior are very different.”
    Reference: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/interior-gateway-routing-protocol-igrp/9105-34.html

  43. R’hllor
    July 16th, 2018

    @Overdose, completing the answer of @doka you don’t have any info about the ACL referenced in the distribute-list (1 in this case) so “C” is the better answer.
