    Q3/227

When unicast Reverse Path forwarding is confugired on an interface, which action does the interface take first when it receives a packet ?

A – it verifies that the source has valid VEF ajency
B – it checks the egress access list
C – it verifies a reverse path via the FIB to the source
D – it checks the ingress access lists

In dump is C, but should be D

@ Question. Here are the answers.

1.How does an EVN provide end-to-end virtualization and separation of data traffic from multiple networks?
    A. on the edge interface, with vnet tag
    B. on the edge, with 801.q
    C. on the trunk, with vnet tag
    D. on the trunk, with 802.1 q

    Answer: C

    2. Consider this scenario. TCP traffic is blocked on port 547 between a DHCPv6 relay agent
and a DHCPv6 server that is configured for prefix delegation. Which two outcomes will
result when the relay agent is rebooted? (Choose two)
    A. Routers will not obtain DHCPv6 prefixes.
    B. DHCPv6 clients will be unreachable.
    C. Hosts will not obtain DHCPv6 addresses.
    D. The DHCPv6 relay agent will resume distributing addresses.
    E. DHCPv6 address conflicts will occur on downstream clients.

    Answer: AD

    3. Which two statements about configuring Frame Relay point-to-multipoint connections are true? (Choose two)
    A. They ignore the broadcast keyword in the frame-relay DLCI mapping.
    B. They requireasd the same DLCI on each side of the link.
    C. Changing a point-to-multipoint sub interface to a different type requires the interface to be deleted and recreated.
    D. They require the frame-relay mapping command to be configured.
    E. They require inverse ARP.

    Answer: DE

    ——————————————

For the question about configuring Frame Relay point-to-point connections, the answers are:

    – Changing a point-to-point sub interface to a different type requires the device to be reloaded.
    – They use two DLCIs to communicate with multiple endpoints over the Frame Relay cloud.

All the best for exams. Please share your exam experience after fininshing the test. Thanks!

One question came up which I cannot found in the dumps or in the MPQ, but found in the site.
Sadly I have answered it wrong. :( What do you think how much point could I lose in this…
If you can answer that I can probably answer 2 other important questions which we always discussed before.

    Digitaltut has updated DUMP file
    https://www.digitaltut.com/route-questions-and-answers

About 80% questions are here. A lot of questions from section NEW (OSPF down bit, stateless/stateful DND, LLQ, new Frame Relay D&D)
I had some from old 757q, for example:
    QUESTION 10
Which three TCP enhancements can be used with TCP selective acknowledgments? (Choose three)
    A. header compression
    B. explicit congestion notification
    C. keepalive
    D. time stamps
    E. TCP path discovery
    F. MTU window
    Correct Answer: BCD
    Section: Networking – Questions DAY-1

    To all!

As Kaktus said… I have said it also. Digitaltut is enough to understand and to pass, but you have to know the MPQ and the 5th update is about 80-90% of the questions, and at least once or twice must go thought the whole digitaltut (old questsions) to have the 100%…

I have done this and had 0, NULL, ZERO new question!! Pay for the premium and learn from the website… use the forum and you will be just fine.

I have done my Routing yesterday with 9xx and with that I am a CCNP now!

I have a question about the following question:
Which task must you perform to enable a point-to-point Frame Relay connection?
    A. Enable inverse ARP.
    B. Configure the encapsulation type.
    C. Configure static address mapping.
    D. Disable inverse ARP.

What is correct answer B or C?

  19. Kani
    December 14th, 2018

B In normal the router interface is hdlc so to enable frame relay we change the encapsulation
in C the frame relay mapping is not need for point to point because we use physical interface other side Inverse arp is default enable but no need

To all. Soon I will stop browsing digitaltut but again.
757q and digitaltut (DECEMBER ROUTE questions) is enough to score 90-95%. I would say that just new update from digitaltut is enough to pass exam with minimum score (790). I had couple of questions (maybe 5?) that were not in Digitaltut new update.

A network engineer is enabling RIPng on a new customer link. Under which configuration mode is RIPng enabled?
    A. Global
    B. Router
    C. Interface
    D. IPv6
I thanks the correct answer as “c”, but digitaltut say as “a”
@all How do you think about that?

Don’t forget to enable IPv6 unicast routing otherwise no routing protocol will work for IPv6.

that means i try GNS3 now when i go under interface and write IPv6 rip cisco enable
the command not executed error % RIPng: IPv6 routing is not enabled. so when I enable the ipv6 unicast-routing in global mode the under interface the RIPng can enable with out of ipv6 rip cisco in the global mode so that mean the interface is enough to enable on RIPng if already ipv6 unicast routing is enabled

for detail in this example the Interface C

A network engineer is enabling RIPng on a new customer link. Under which configuration mode is RIPng enabled?
    A. Global
    B. Router
    C. Interface
    D. IPv6

RIPng is the IPv6 format of RIP protocol. We perform the initial RIPng configuration at the “Global” config mode to enable RIPng on the router.

Then we apply the RIPng configuration at the interface level.

    For example:

We enable RIPng at the Global config mode:

    R1(config)#ipv6 router rip process1

Then we apply the RIPng config and enable RIPng on the interface:

    R1(config)#interface Ethernet 0/0
    R1(config-if)#ipv6 rip process1 enable
    R1(config-if)#exit
    R1(config)#interface Fa 0/0
    R1(config-if)#ipv6 rip process1 enable

The correct answer should be A – Global, because we enable the RIPng first at the Global level.

    @Networker

is cisco command some of them are mandatory to enter is sequence other are not in the global mode if you enable Ipv6 rip cisco it ok but if you go interface and enable IPv6 rip cisco enable automatically it will create the previous command function and it will write in running configuration

other side to ✔ to enable ripv6 in customer link we go interface not global mode as my opinion

  31. Networker
    December 14th, 2018

    @Kani

I agree it can be enabled at the interface level.

But it is always a good practice to configure/enable routing protocols at the Global config mode and inherit the configurations to the interfaces.

Again I interpret the question like this “A network engineer is enabling RIPng on a new customer link. Under which configuration mode is RIPng enabled?”. From the question, “new customer link”. So it is always recommended to enable RIPng on the Global config mode.

I refered “CBT Nuggets” and “INE” videos on this subject as well. They describe enabling RIPng at the Global config mode and then “adding” interfaces to the config.

Here is a reference from “Network Lessons” site as well: https://networklessons.com/ipv6/how-to-configure-ripng-on-cisco-ios-router/

In my opinion for a new customer link, would recommend enabling RIPng at the Global level first.

@Networker . There is statement which is in your link.

    Networker
    Enabling IPv6 RIP
    Before You Begin
Before configuring the router to run IPv6 RIP, globally enable IPv6 using the ipv6 unicast-routing command in global configuration mode, and enable IPv6 on any interfaces on which IPv6 RIP is to be enabled.

If you want to set or change a global value, follow steps 1 and 2, and then use the optional ipv6 router ripcommand in global configuration mode.

    SUMMARY STEPS
    1. enable
    2. configure terminal
    3. ipv6 unicast-routing
    4. interface type number
    5. ipv6 rip name enable
