I took my test on 1/22/2019 and passed with 8XX. Thank you Digitaltut. The questions and material are still valid. The labs are same. I got the labs: EIGRP STUB, EIGRP-OSPF redistribution, and OSPF Evaluation. I ran into a few problems with the EIGRP-OSPF redistribution and had to reload the routers multiple times in order to get the routes to distribute to the neighboring routers.

    Some pointers:
Study questions from MPQ (digitaltut premium member) and the New Updates Question #5 (digitaltut premium member); understand why the answer is correct.
Study labs and practice the commands and troubleshoot commands

I’ll check for any response for the next few days. Good luck!!

    hi all,

did the test recently and passed with 8xx. I found it really hard to be honest.
SIMS: EIGRP Stub, OSPF sim, redistribution.
All D&Ds were from digital tut list.

I got a ton of frame relay/PPPoE questions. i knew those were my weak points, but i’d hoped that I wouldnt get many questions about them! still managed to pass though.

out of all the questions i got at least 10 – 15 new questions that were not in digitaltut’s most popular or new questions part 5. digitaltut really helps in knowing what type of questions you’re going to get, but you really need to be learning the technologies and configs inside out in addition to reading the digitaltut dumps. ensure you know each of the SIMs before sitting the exam.

good luck to everyone on their CCNP Route.

Which adverse circumstance can the TTL feature prevent?
    A. routing loops
    B. DoS attacks
    C. link saturation
    D. CAM table overload

Hi what is the correct answer here (A or B)

  18. TACACS+
    January 26th, 2019

@ CCNP Dream The correct Answer is: A

  19. VINCENT
    January 26th, 2019

    @ CCNP Dream

it is same as question 149 on Route_Dec_2018 pdf file

    Answer: B

    Explanation

This question mentions about the TTL Security Check for multihop BGP Peering Sessions.
The BGP Support for TTL Security Check feature provides an effective and easy-to-deploy
solution to protect eBGP peering sessions from CPU utilization-based attacks. When this
feature is enabled, a host cannot attack a BGP session if the host is not a member of the local
or remote BGP network or if the host is not directly connected to a network segment between
the local and remote BGP networks. This solution greatly reduces the effectiveness of DoS
attacks against a BGP autonomous system. An example of configuring this feature is shown
    below:

    Router(config)# router bgp 65000
    Router(config-router)# neighbor 10.1.1.1 ttl-security hops 2

This sets the expected incoming TTL value for a directly connected eBGP peer. The hopcount argument is set to 2 configuring BGP to only accept IP packets with a TTL count in the
header that is equal to or greater than 253. If the 10.1.1.1 neighbor is more than 2 hops away,
the peering session will not be accepted.

Which location within the network is preferred when using a dedicated router for Cisco IP SLA operations?
    A. user edge
    B. provider edge
    C. access edge
    D. distribution edge
In route dec. answer is “B” and in spoto “A”

  21. CCNP Dream

    whats the answer guys ?

which technology supports overlapping ip addresses on a single interfaces ( 62/100 227q )

    a-Qos
    b-Vrf Lite
    c-policy based routing
    d-on-demand routing

    b or c?

    January 26th, 2019

    and this one as well

I am so confused with this question? Does anyone confirm what is the answer.

    – which command can be entered on router R5 to configure 80 percent of bandwidth of a link EIGRP Autonomous System 55?

    a- R5(config-if)#ip bandwith percent eigrp bandwidth 55 88
    e- R5(config-if)#ipv6 bandwith-percent eigrp bandwidth 55 88

a or e? I didnt type in rest of them.

    I think a is correct.

  26. TACACS+
    January 26th, 2019

    Both are wrong
instead it should be like this below

    e- R5(config-if)#ipv6 bandwith-percent eigrp 55 80

  27. TACACS+
    January 26th, 2019

    @ networkc2020
    the correct answer is: B

  28. TACACS+
    January 26th, 2019

I have just got you the answer in GNS3

    R1(config-if)#ipv6 bandwidth-percent eigrp 55 80

One advise guys for certains questions, you need anyone to tell you the right answer you can just TEST it yourself in GNS3 to be sure. At the end of the day CERTIFICATION will not get you a job SPECIALLY in NETWORKING. They need someone who can do the job, a problem solver.

  29. networkc2020
    January 26th, 2019

Hi tacacs+, thanks for your answer. I have trıed on gns3 this commond
    R1(config-if)#ipv6 bandwidth-percent eigrp 55 80
and i did not see it. Thats why i needed to ask.

I have checked one more time I have made a mistake while I have type in.
    Regards.

I had tried one more time that works.

Which adverse circumstance can the TTL feature prevent?
    A. routing loops
    B. DoS attacks
    C. link saturation
    D. CAM table overload

    Answer is A
Until the question has some additional information, the answer would be A because the main feature of TTL was to prevent routing loop.

Hi guys, i have passed the exam with the score 8xx. Most of questions is available in premium membership. I have studied 227q, MPQ’s in premium membership, and 757q (I cant say that I have studied that much for 757q, it will be good of you studied, just an advise.) thanks a lot for digitaltut families and go through switch exam.

I had eigrp stub, ospf sim, eigrp redistribution lab.

My advise is, check the question in dumps and MPQs is really true and make sense.

    Best regards.

Hello everyone, I’ve just passed with a score of 8xx.

SIMs, IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link, EIGRP Evaluations, EIGRP Stub
D&D, Loose/Strict Mode, NAT Process, DMVPN

I studied the Route_Dec_18.pdf available on this site and also signed up for the premium account (which I highly recommend).
Most of the questions were from this site and the pdf mentioned but there were some I had not seen before (which I can’t remember now, sorry).
If you study all the pdf questions and learn the labs you should be fine to pass. The premium account was definitely worth the $15

    Good luck everyone

Sometimes its difficult to know who to believe.. Are Cisco Randomizing exams now as Its been a few years since I last took an exam but by looking at the comments the LAB and DnDs seem to change on a daily basis (or maybe not) and I am only looking to re-certify..

(apologies if you are one of the below commentators and you are legit I’m just using the most recent examples)
