    Route-jan – > question 151 variance value A. 1 B. 2 C. 3 D.4.
    mentioned answer was C.
But variance value should be 4. because Feasible successor’s metric < successor's metric * variance.
notice formula that < but not <=. so metric 150*3 = 450 which is incorrect. it should be 150*4= 600 which is higher than successor's metric (150).
    any concern?

Hi guys passed now with 801 marks, FRESH POST
Cant rely on digitaltut much, many unknown MCQ came,
One on BGP peers, one on NHRP, one on URPF, many on evn technology, beware on them.
For me Sims were Eigrp stub same,
    Eigrp Evaluation same
OSPF : need to configure /30 same concept but IP change,
My suggestion keep alternative dumps along with digitaltut, Alone cant help to pass

    Route-jan -> question 114
which bgp option is required when load sharing over multiple equal parallel from a single CE …….?
Answer is it eBGP multipath or eBGP multihop.
answer should be maximum-path not multipath.
or multihop? since they are directly connected there is no need for multihop command

Above link came from me I have been reading posts on here since Nov last year, tried the dumps and there are too may inconsistencies, my study approach was INE, cisco press books, constant lab work on gns3 and this site.. Learn all questions on this site and know the concept of why the question is right / wrong then you should be good to pass.

I’ll check back if anyone has a question good luck!

Please try to give the correct answers.
    1. What are two reasons to use multicast to deliver video traffic, instead of unicast or broadcast ?
    a) It provides reliable TCP transport
    b) It enables multiple servers to send video streams simultaneously
    c) It enables multiple clients to send video stream simultaneously
    d) It supports distributed applications
    e) It enables multiple clients to receive the video stream simultaneously

Answer is (d) and (e) – that is the advantage of using Multicast, a video server can reduce load and conserve bandwidth by sending to many receiving clients at once. Key here is 1(Server) to Many (Clients). I believe distributed applications here means you can choose which clients receive the video stream which is another feature of Multicast

    2. Which two statements about PAP authentication in a PPP environment are true ?

    a) It is performed at the beginning of the session only
    b) It sends the password in clear text
    c) It uses a username with an MD5 password to authenticate
    d) It hashes the password before sending it
    e) It is performed at the beginning of the session and is repeated periodically for as long as the session is maintained

    Answers are
b – sent in clear text
e – PAP starts after the PPP link is established and is repeated throughout the session until its terminated (After PPP link is established should be when a session starts?…)

    b) Define the problem as a set of symptoms and causes
    c) Implement an action plan
    d) Moniter and verify the resolution
    e) Analyse the results

    Answer = (B) then (A)
    http://www.ciscopress.com/articles/article.asp?p=2273070

    4. Which two piece of information can you learn by viewing the routing table ?
    a) Whether an ACL was applied inbound or outbound to an interface
    b) Whether the administrative distance was manually or dynamically configured
    c) Which neighbour adjacencies are established
    d) The EIGRP or BGP autonomous system
    e) The length of time that a route has been known

Answer- E, B (This is because you should already know what the default AD values are, anything different means it was manually configured)

5 Which two facts must you take into account when you deploy PPPoE ?
    a) DDR idle timers must be configured to support VPDN loggin.
    b) PPPoE supports a maximum of 10 clients per customer premises equipment
    c) DDR is not supported
    d) You must manually configure IP addresses on the PPPoE interface
    e) An individual PVC can support one PPPoE client

Answer – B – yes PPPoE CPE can support a max of 10 clients
    The second fact is tricky
A is wrong because you dont need DDR idle timers to support VPDN
C – Not sure – Before 12.2(13)T, PPPoE “client” did not support DDR, It DOES NOW
D – Wrong – You do not need to manually configure an IP address. You can use “ip address pppoe” or “ip address negotiated”

I guess that would leave (E) as the correct option. Actually for PPPoE over ATM, a PVC can support only one PPPoE client.

  27. CiscoMan
    February 21st, 2019

    @Sashi86

C would be wrong because you can form a neighbor adjacency and not exchange any routes with that neighbor. eg. No routes to exchange, Stub receive-only, distribute-lists, etc
