I passed 9xx today, finally CCNP! I had already done TSHOOT.

I studied MPQ, NUQ5 and 6 LAB’s the 3 that always appear:
– EIGRP Evaluation Yes
– OSPF Yes
– IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link Yes

Some 5 questions I hadn’t seen around here, maybe I even have on the website, because I haven’t studied the composite question. Learn the concepts, don’t just memorize the questions. I recommend a premium account, as it is better organized to study, at least it was for me. Keep calm and everything will be fine. Thank you TUT. And good luck to all.

@Akula: no need to do subnetting on the paper. Everything is exactly like in the labs here…

just took the Route exam, failed by a couple questions. Same sims: OSPFv3 Virtual Links, OSPF sim, and EIGRP eval. Crushed those, but the multiple choice questions were tough. One drag and drop about configuring frame relay on a multipoint connection, you have to arrange the steps in the correct order. a lot of questions were reworded a little to try and throw you off.

Passed with 9xx, had the free oct dumps from here.

There was new Drag drop about AAA, same as @nekmik mentioned.
Sims identical to what @nekmik mentioned.
Roughly 3 new questions, do not remember what they were about.

Although i used free dumps, i will go and pay for the premium as a principle, they did a good job putting it togather.

I failed my exam last week with 74%. It seems that there where
– at least 5 D&D from 9tut
– OSPF sim, OSPF IPv6 Virtual Link, and EIGRP Evaluation
– DHCPv6, EVN, PPPoE, one question for IPSec output show crypto ipsec sa and two many IPv6 questions

It seems that Cisco is overeacting a bit with this exam, since it is not a routing exam. There was no question on EIGRP, or on OSPF and main topics like redistribution

I would say the exam is IPv6 and VRF oriented since the majority of the questions are from there

Passed the route exam after 2nd attempt. 5 new questions or thereabout (I can’t remember them). Make sure you have a good understanding of all the subjects rather than memorising them. I have 2 simulations (OSPF & Virtual Links Simulations, 2 DD). All the best to all of you. This site is valid!

About the new question:

Hi, I passed 8xx on my second chance. It comes dmvpn ppoe few summarization. I only had two d & d that were from AAA same labs and sim ospf to d ospf link ipv6 and the sin of eigrp.

Took the test before the Holidays…missed it by a few. The first two questions where “What is the difference between OSPFv2 and OSPFv3, and What is the difference between EIGRPv2 and EIGRPv3?” The answer options are different from the Digitaltut guide. Anyone know the correct answers?

OSPF Sim – without this comment Use the appropriate mask such that ONLY Portland’s S0/0 and Amnani’s S0/1 could be in Area 1.
Area 1 should not receive any external or inter-area routes (except the default route).
Did not add area 1 stub and area 1 stub no-summary and probably because of this i have less scoring.

one new question i remember was:

and the options was asking if router send updates and if that specific interface does not, I don’t remember exactly

i think octomber dump is enough to pass.

ospf sim (process id 64, area number 9) ask only to configure the ospf network statement on serial link between router Seattle and Indianapolis and then ping loopback address of the far end router (Atlanta).
no stub commands have to be configured!

Does anyone know when the new exam format comes in this month?

I’m glad I passed my CCNP recert back at the beginning of Feb…dont have to worry about it until 2023!!!

Question: For the SIM ospf virtual link, is there a particular difficulty in test or the commands presented in the SIM of this site allows to see the result ?? (I had additional manipulations in the GNS3 virtual SIM link presented on this site to complete the exercise)

In the exam I have configured R2 R3 R4 as in the ospfv3 sim.
Then I verified if loopback of R4 was in the routing table of R1 with the command show ipv6 route.
if it is present then you have made everything right.

Hello all, just passed. MPQ, NU5&6 (only) are enough to me. I did not study topics to right in digital tut. Just dive deeper in weak topics and you should be fine.

Couple of D&D. Got stuck on OSPF lab (unable to ping, so lost points). Other labs are straight forward.
