I’ve got many new questions or at least I don’t remember them here, but I mostly study NUQ5, NUQ6 and MPQ (I’ve got premium membership, highly recommended), so maybe in the old questions. Needless to say, you’ve got to study and understand the topics. Some questions are similar to other question here so if you understand, you will pass.

Alhamdullillah i passed the Exam Today with 87x marks.

firstly alhamdulillah and secondly thanks to 9tut, eventhough i wasnt well prepared for the exam, i just started reading the MPQ, NU6 and NU5 just yesterday and saw the LABS just once, but i passed the exam. everything you need to pass the exam is in premium acount.

Just passed the exam in the morning [85x]. The questions, D&Ds LABs are still valid. Just 3 or 4 new questions. Premium account is way more than enough to pass this exam.
One comment that in the LAB section the IP addresses and area numbers were different.

Failed today by 21 points . Many PPPoE main questions , vrf yellow , OSPF v3 link , ospf sim (could ping the loopback and serial after adding required commands ) and EIGRP evaluation .

Finally passed the exam today 81x

The MPQ are still valid. I am not sure about the NU5 and NU6 since I didn’t have time to study them.

Labs are the same: OSPF Sim, EIGRP Evaluation and OSPFv3 Virtual link configuration.

This time the pool of questions was not focused only to IPv6 and VRFs. As a matter of fact there was no VRF question
As many people said you need to understand the concept of all the exam topics since there are questions that are just changing the way of expression or some of them don’t make sense if you do not know the concepts

Questions:
IPv6: 1 x configure NPTv6, 3 x DHCPv6 communication. You need to know the messages being exchanged, 1 x NDP communication, OSPFv3 basic config

DD: Around 4 or 5 of them. Most of them from digitaltut and one new (at least for me) with AAA accounting (command, exec, connection, network etc)

3 x SLA Questions one of them with tracking object
3 x Redistribution Questions
2 x distribution list
1 x BGP
2 x EIGRP

in overal this time the exam was testing on CCNP ROUTE topics and not on CCNP ISP topics

I recommend not just check MPQ, NUQ5 and NUQ6. I checked all MCQ questions by topic and all old questions by topic. I know they are a lot , but it worked to me. I just found around 5 new questions, but managable though

Labs EIGRP evaluation, OSPFv3 virtual link and OSPF sim

Hello Everyone, i passed the exam today with the score 85x.
I actually did a self study and prepare using the dump given by this site.
Almost Every question in the dump came out in the exam. In the Ospf sim, I was not asked to make an area stubby or totally stubby. The question just asked that the portland router should be able to ping the remote router through the serial interface. However i could not ping from source.
I was expecting to score more than that but i was quite surprised when i saw my score ,but Alhamdullilah. Note i had like 3 drag and drop.

Thanks to everyone who has helped one person or the other on this site. And a big thank you to digitaltut.

I’m glad you passed, but yes, the lab always asks to make the area totally stubby, BUT, it’s on the instructions below, you have to scroll a little more. Also, it’s there’s no need to ping forcing the source: in Cisco routers, if you don’t specify the source, the ping is sent with the IP of the outgoing interface as the source.

Most of the questions are from here, only about 4-5 are new.
OSPF sim was without stub areas, I only needed to make ospf work and ping the loopback of the last router in the right. Very easy. Then EIGRP eval and OSPFv3 with virtual link.
I remember something like:
1. What shows the command: show ip vrf?
2. if a router synchronize its time with windows server what is the port used? I think UDP 123. There was TCP 123 and 986 as I remember..
Learn from here and you will pass. Just work for every question there! Good luck!

I pass today 8xx score, the labs are the same, the OSPF sim only change the ospf id, to 30 and the name of the router. nothing more. I don’t see the new D&D AAA, but you need to learn him.

I finished the exam today with 8XX. OSPF Sim: No Ospf configured on Portland router and different area as well as OSPF process number. EIGRP Evaluation Sim & IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link was the same.
D&D: Authentication, Authorization, and accounting, AAA authentication(Null, Radius, Tacack+, krb5 etc.)
Language changed in few questions, otherwise everything from the site.

Passed the exam yesterday. Had OSPF IPv6 Virtual Links, OSPF stub and EIGRP Eval. EIGR evaluation is a carbon copy. OSPF virtual links is same as well. OSPF stub was missing the configuration for OSPF on the first router and needed to add network into OSPF on another router. Just a few D&D, all questions from this site. There was a question about what needed to be added to the hub to enable DMVPN phase 3? I think it is from this site as well but I’m not sure.

Failed today with 7××. About 10 questions on ipv6 and the ipv6 sim, aswell as several questions on PPPoe configuration and process and dealing with failures where PPPoe is installed.

Had the frame relay drag D&D on here and the ipv6 D&D on here.

Had a few questions on vrf and a vrf simlet.

Also had questions on EVN and VRF relating to contrasting each and command line syntax required for VRF.

Tough exam which I thought I was prepared for, but time to prepare.for the new exam.

This time studied the other questions there were NOT part of the most popular. This version of my test defin pulled a good amount (say at least 25%) from the not so popular questions. Sucks to study all those older questions with the limited time, but it defin popped up. So all those question that “i never saw and could be new”… they were from the pool of older questions.

D&D – Frame relay – NAT64, AAA, Stateful VS stateless. LMI extensions

Labs – EIGRP Eval, OSPF Sim, and OSPF Virtual Link.

The OSPF Sim was difficult only because once i created the OSPF network between the two routers, i got the loopback in my routing table and was able to ping to the 3rd router but as soon as i converted the area to a stub and/or the other router with stub and no-summary , the route disappeared. Didn’t know if I was doing something wrong or the SIM was broken. Left it without turning the routers to stub and no-summary.

So much DnD within, but most of them from digiTUT.

Labs: OSPF Virtual, EIGRP Eval., OSPF Stub.

Questions came from every section of this page (and some new one, i’ve never seen before – but almost the same structure). MPQ was not enough.

BARELY passed today. I’m not sure how everyone is getting the same questions but my experience was COMPLETELY different today…

I studied ALL of the MPQ, Old Questions, Composite, and MOST of the new updated questions. Roughly half of the questions I had on my exam were included in those sections. The other questions were completely new, and not on this site. MPQ, Composite, and Updated questions were not enough. I was stressing out and don’t recall them all, but many of them were new IPv6 NAT – related questions, not found here. Since IPv6 NAT etc is something that is “set and forget”, you don’t use it everyday and it’s easy to forget.

All of the DnD questions were the same, but make sure you study the newer ones in the MPQ section.

Lab sims were OSPF virtual link, EIGRP eval, and the OSPF Stub Sim.

All of this being said, if you don’t have a grasp on the fundamentals of each topic, you will not likely pass this exam before the 24th. Best of luck to everyone, and thanks again to the digitalnut, networktut, RStut etc team.

Hi everyone, I just passed my exam, and finally I got the ccnp

I recommend to study MPQ, NUQ 5,6 and all the labs. about 80% of the questions are there, however It is important to understand the topics and take advantage of the explanations and links.

The other questions I faced, they are understandable and are the same topics of the MPQ

For the rest of these days, try to do as much as exams you can, really understand the questions and answers, even to know why the possible answers are not correct, that is the key, good luck
