C is for sure it have debate around answers D or E in my opinion is D as i do not see issue with the treshold , but the interface even it can be use f0/0 its much more precise to use fa1/0

Which adverse circumstance can the TTL feature prevent?
    A. routing loops
    B. DoS attacks
    C. link saturation
    D. CAM table overload

COrrect is Routing loops at it is the main function of TTL , digitaltut explain it that it is related to BGP this is why answer on this question here on this website refer to answer B Dos attacks
as there is no where mentioned BGP in the question i would go for A routing loops

your last question is very simple no explanation needed FF08:/16

    January 11th, 2019

Hi Guys are the following answers correct ? have checked cisco doc but this these answers confuse me a bit.

    LOOSE MODE
-it support using the default route as a route reference
-it requires the source address to be routable

    STRICT MODE

    -it can drop legitimate traffic
-it permits only packets that are received on the same interface as the exit interface for the destination address.

    Good luck to everyone.

    Hay Guys,
591lab has the new Dumps. (180USD) it is not downloadable.
they got 270 questions. If someone already has the dump share it ( they allow RDC to their server )
    it is expensive..
We can get the questions IF we can pool the money.
Let me know someone is interested..
I will update my email later.

These 2 questions seem alike. Why do they have different answers?

Which action can you take to mitigate unicast flooding in a network?
    A. Configure VLANs to span multiple access-layer switches.
    B. Implement a nonlooped network topology.
    C. Set the ARP timer value to less than the CAM timer value.
    D. Set the CAM timer value to less than the ARP timer value.
    Answer: C

How can you minimize unicast flooding in a network?
    A. Configure HSRP on two routers, with one subnet preferred on the first router and a different subnet preferred on the second router
    B. Set the router‘s ARP timeout value to be the same as the timeout value for Layer 2 forwarding table entries
    C. Set the router‘s ARP timeout value to greater than the timeout value for Layer 2 forwarding table entries
    D. Set the router‘s ARP timeout value to less than timeout value for Layer 2 forwarding table entries
    Answer: B

I had lab where I could issue the command copy running-config …and it accepted it, but then on another lab it did not accept it, so just try, but if it doesn’t work, don’t worry, just means that lab is not designed for it to work.

Cisco IP Phones download their configuration from a TFTP server. When a Cisco IP Phone starts, if it
does not have both the IP address and TFTP server IP address preconfigured, it sends a request with
option 150 or 66 to the DHCP server to obtain this information.

Much of the OSPFv3 protocol is the same as in OSPFv2. OSPFv3 is described in RFC 2740.
The key differences between the OSPFv3 and OSPFv2 protocols are as follows:
    • OSPFv3 expands on OSPFv2 to provide support for IPv6 routing prefixes and the larger size of IPv6
    addresses.
    • LSAs in OSPFv3 are expressed as prefix and prefix length instead of address and mask.
    • The router ID and area ID are 32-bit numbers with no relationship to IPv6 addresses.
    • OSPFv3 uses link-local IPv6 addresses for neighbor discovery and other features.
    • OSPFv3 can use the IPv6 authentication trailer (RFC 6506) or IPSec (RFC 4552) for authentication.
However, neither of these options is supported on Cisco NX-OS.

Most of the ISP need authentication for the eBGP peers. The peering succeed only both the routers are configured for the authentication and have a same password. If the router has the password configured for the neighbor, but a neighbor router will not message, then you will get the console when routers attempts to accomplish the BGP session.’

If the connection successfully has been set up, you should see the number of packets that were encapsulated and encrypted, that had an ICV value attached to them when set to the remote peer, and the opposite when received from the remote peer.

These are the local and remote endpoints for the IPSec connection, as well as the MTU used.

There will be two sets of SAs for each tunnel: inbound and outbound. Inbound is from the remote peer to this router. Outbound is from this router to the remote peer. For both inbound and outbound, there are two sections: one for ESP and one for AH. In this example, there is nothing listed under AH, indicating that AH is not used to protect the connection. I examine one of these sections, inbound esp sas, to explain some of the information found for a connection. First, notice that each of these connections has a unique SPI value. For the inbound ESP SA, the transform parameters used to protect it are ESP SHA and 3DES encryption. The connection mode is tunnel mode.’

    hi guys,

I think the spoto 227q dump has some wrong answers, do you agree with me?

    For example;

    Refer to the exhibit.

    router eigrp 1
    redistribute bgp 1 route-map BGP_DEFAULT_ROUTE_RM
    network 2.0.0.0
    route-map BGP_DEFAULT_ROUTE_RM permit 10
    match ip address prefix-list DEFAULT_ROUTE_PL
    ip prefix-list DEFAULT_ROUTE_PL seq 10 permit 0.0.0.0/0
For which reason is EIGRP failing to redistribute the default route?

    A. The EIGRP process is missing the default metric.
    B. The EIGRP process is missing the no auto-summary command.
    C. The EIGRP process is missing the router ID.
    D. The route-map statement is missing the match any keyword

    A or B ?

I tried to discuss in NewRouteQuestions but let me answer here too
    Question 44

What type of address OSPFv3 uses to form adjacency and send updates?
    A. FF02::5
    B. link-local
    C. IPv4 address
    D. IPv6 address multicast
    Answer: D

    Shouldn’t be Answer A?

OSPFv3 routers establish a DR and BDR that controls
LSA flooding on the network. OSPFv3 uses the well-known IPv6 multicast addresses, FF02::5, and a MAC address of 0100.5300.0005 to communicate with neighbors.

    match ip address prefix-list DEFAULT_ROUTE_PL
    ip prefix-list DEFAULT_ROUTE_PL seq 10 permit 0.0.0.0/0
For which reason is EIGRP failing to redistribute the default route?

    A. The EIGRP process is missing the default metric.
    B. The EIGRP process is missing the no auto-summary command.
    C. The EIGRP process is missing the router ID.
    D. The route-map statement is missing the match any keyword

    Passed 8xx/1000, 53 questions (indluded the 3 sim and about 4 or 5 D&D).
About 4/5 new questions, the rest most of them from Most Popular Questions and updated questions you can find in the Premium membership of digitaltut.

You can also see some latests questions following the comments thread.

    – ospfv3
    – eigrp evaluation
    – eigrp stub

Spoto dump is in comment page 259.

For me it was enough with that and with digitaltut, it’s worth it to become premium.

    Good luck all!
