Can anyone explain or share documentation about
“IPsec encryption not supported with statically addressed spokes”

Which two statements about DMVPN are true? (Choose two)
    A. IPsec encryption not supported with statically addressed spokes
    B. It requires full-mesh connectivity on the network
    C. It uses NHRP to create a mapping database of spoke addresses
    D. Multicast traffic is not supported
    E. It supports dynamic addresses for spokes in a hub-and-spoke VPN topology
    AC

The answer A doesn’t make sense to me.

yes, E makes sense, but dumps say A, so I wanted to make sure if there is indeed an explanation.

Hi guys, this website is enough to pass the CCNP Route exam. There is no need to purchase the premium subscription, since the latest pdf updates is enough, but if you have extra bucks, you can do so to help the people behind this awesome website :D

    Labs:
EIGRP Stub (1 EIGRP Stub + 1 Router that needs auto-summary)
EIGRP Evaluation (Show commands about Traffic Ratio, Bandwidth, etc.)
OSPF Troubleshooting (1 OSPF Stub + 1 OSPF Stub No-summary)

    Drag and Drop
    MPP versus CoPP
    Loose versus Strict
    Frame Relay Point-to-Point Steps
IPv6 Traffic Filter versus IPv6 Access Class
AAA (Auth-proxy, Command, Exec, Connection, Reverse Telnet) – NEW AND NOT FOUND HERE

Thank you, Digital Tut. If my tip helps you pass the exam, kindly share the new questions too for the sake of the future takers. Thank you.

There are various reasons for the interface to go into errdisable. The reason can be:

    Duplex mismatch

    Port channel misconfiguration

    BPDU guard violation

    UniDirectional Link Detection (UDLD) condition

    Late-collision detection

    Link-flap detection

    Security violation

    Port Aggregation Protocol (PAgP) flap

Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) guard

    DHCP snooping rate-limit

Incorrect GBIC / Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) module or cable

    Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) inspection

    Inline power

    Question:

Company is deploying a multicast application that must be accessible between sites, but must not be accessible outside of the organization. Based on the scoping requirements, the multicast group address for the application will be allocated out of which range?
    A. FF00:/16 B. FF0E:/16 C. FF02:/16 D. FF08:/16
    Answer: C

    Explanation
All IPv6 multicast addresses begin with FF::/8 – in other words, with FF as the first two digits. Multicasts with a link local scope, like most of the multicast addresses referenced, begin with FF02::/16, the 2 in the fourth hex digit identifies the scope as link local. A fourth digit of hex 5 identifies the broadcast as site local scope, with those multicasts beginning with FF05::/16
Reference: CCNP ROUTE 300-101 Official Certification Guide

  27. Jamhal
    January 6th, 2019

It would be D. FF02 is for link-local multicast and FF08 is for organization local multicast.

  28. RE: IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link Sim
    January 6th, 2019

From what I can remember, the only thing configured on the serial interfaces was an ipv4 address and maybe the clock rate. Specifically, as far as any ipv6 addressing, there was none on the serial interfaces. No auto config, no hard coded ipv6 on the serial. This much I can remember for sure.

So I am still curious did anyone take exam, have the ospf virtual command sim and notice also that the Serial interfaces only had ipv4 addresses configured and no ipv6 address or any other ipv6 address configuration configured? On the ethernet interfaces there were ipv6 addresses, but not on the Serial interfaces.

“Which two statements about DMVPN are true? (Choose two)

    B. It requires full-mesh connectivity on the network
    C. It uses NHRP to create a mapping database of spoke addresses
    D. Multicast traffic is not supported
    E. It supports dynamic addresses for spokes in a hub-and-spoke VPN topology
    AC”

This is incorrect. The answer is C & E. IPSEC is supported in DMVPN, a statically assigned IP address for a spoke wouldn’t make a difference in relation to being able to use IPSEC.

Thanks digitaltut community for this great platform.

    Just cleared Route today.

Most of The question are covered in this platform.

Lab&Simlet( IPV6 ospf Virtual links, Eigrp stub and Eigrp Simlet )

Drag and Drop (URPF, NAT64, DMVPN(NHRP,HUB,SPOKE,mGRE)

The rest were Multiple choice which many are in this platform and few new ones were so obvious that you cant fail.

score 977 i missed two or Three multiple choice

    1. GRE —-> i just found after the exam GRE is IP Protocol 47 (Not TCP not UDP)
I finished the exam 1 hour and 5 minutes before time.

I didnt have any question on BGP, Im kinda sad becuse i spend a lot on BGP but no worries the information learnt will be useful for CCIE exama

no, C E, A. doesn’t make any sense and there is no documentation about it. You probably chose A because of dumps. There are many wrong answers in dumps.

  46. Vinilee
    January 7th, 2019

    @ chinaski

Do the serial links being ipv4 affect configuration? Would the solution available on digitaltut, now be incorrect? Just wondering since OSPF is being configured globally rather than per interface. A little confused.

  49. chinaski
    January 7th, 2019

@Vinilee If the serial links are only IPv4 and Ethernet links are IPv6, then obviously the available solution won’t work and there should be a tunnel to pass IPv6 multicast over IPv4 network. That would change the whole lab.
By the way, the comment about IPV4 serial link is in “IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link Sim” Lab section.
What “OSPF is being configured globally rather than per interface” has o do with my question?
