@Vinilee I’m not sure if it’s sarcasm or not, but thanks anyway. By the way, do you know if there are ospf statements under loopback interfaces.

    Hello Guys

I pass CCNP route week ago with 973, labs are same as on this website , question you have all as well here ,read new questions 5 and most popular questions , if you understand the material even some of the questions are changed a bit you will pass.
For material that i study and how to really learn this i can tell you that i spend 6 month of deep studying , when i say deep means going to level of wire-shark analyzes and deep understanding on what is happening on each layer .
I highly recommend following concept :

    1.INE – CCNP R&S v2 (2015) – HQ Keith Bogard , Amazing video tutorials very detailed

2.Read the 300-101 book is absolutely needed , i pass it twice once when i watch the videos and one more time while studying questions from this website

3.GNS3 labs invent by your self and also pass the labs provided on gns3vault Rene Molenar
Also i recommend to download the books from Rene is shorter then the originals and it have some good explanations with examples .

    4. For any unclear parts that you need explanation use the study part on this website and networklessons so all will be clear to you how does it work .

I strongly recommend this path if you really want to know your job if you just want to get exam and dont know nothing you can just learn the questions that i mention and labs and you will pass

    Congrats,
since you have passed and studied all those materials, can you explain some questions?

    1. What configurations does PPPoE allow?

    A. Client can be installed on the same network devices as server
    C. Clients can connect to multiple hosts over DMVPN
    D. Client connecting over ATM PVC
    E. Client installed on native IPv6 network
    C or D ?

    2. Which criterion does the BGP maximum paths feature use for load balancing?
    A. MED
    B. local preference
    C. weight
    D. router ID

Hello Chinaski :) , you can do a simple research on google and find the answers :) , but anyways
    1. What configurations does PPPoE allow?

Correct answer is C. Clients can connect to multiple hosts over DMVPN

PPP over Ethernet Client Network Topology
The PPPoE Client feature provides PPPoE client support on routers at customer premises. Before the introduction of this feature, Cisco IOS XE software supported PPPoE only on the access server side. The figure below shows Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) access to multiple hosts from the same PPPoE client using a common dialer interface and shared IPsec.

    https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/bbdsl/configuration/xe-3s/asr1000/bba-xe-3s-asr1000-book/bba-pppoe-client-xe.html

    Second question is C.weight

If you have the videos from Keith Bogard INE just watch the videos on BGP and you will find the answer there , you have it on cisco websites as well .

    @metodijus

There are many answers in dumps, either I don’t agree with or I don’t understand. And simple research doesn’t help if you are confused :) Saw your assertive comment, decided to ask you directly. Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it.
I rewatched Keith’s BGP multipath related video, still don’t understand, how does BGP maximum path use weight for load balancing? As far as I know and Keith says, Weight and all those criterias must be the same for load balancing to work. How does Weight’s priority over local preference affect load balancing if they are the same in both routers?

Its sarcasm if you feel it is sarcasm. How ever you chose to feel about it. It is best for you go check the example for your own answer like anyone else would. Someone asked about this same sim. No tunnel was mentioned or anything similar was mentioned from a member who recently took and cleared exam. Autoconfig was no accepted on exam. Good luck to you.

you asked metodljus a question because you were confused and received a polite response. When you were asked a question by a confused reader, you did not show grace in your response. the forum is for helping each other not to be harsh to others

@Vinilee When I asked “What “OSPF is being configured globally rather than per interface” has o do with my question?” I was trying to make sure if it has indeed anything to do with the problem or not. It was not like “wtf are you talking about” If it sounded that way, I’m sorry and thank you for your inputs.
@anonymous Instead of moderating, I invite you to the discussion of the open subjects, if you really want to contribute to the forum.

    @chinaski

The answer to your question would rely more on what is present in the current config. There may be more to it. You see what i am saying is the only detail in your question was that the serial interfaces have IPv4 addresses. Perhaps there is more to the picture. It is possible that yes, the serials are ipv4, but they may also be configured with some sort of ipv4 to v6 encapsulation or tunnel. More information is needed about how the interface is presented on the exam. If on the exam, there is a tunnel already in the config, the solution here on digitaltut, could possibly still be valid. The solution may not change at all.

The fact that the exam has never required any configurations at the interface-level for this sim may very well be a hint that there is not some new element of tunneling now required. It makes sense why Vinilee may have mentioned globally vs. at interface. Only one who has recently had this sim on the exam can clarify. Good luck to all. Anyone who had this please explain. Good luc.

    AAA Accounting (from https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/12_2/security/command/reference/fsecur_r/srfacct.html)

auth-proxy Provides information about all authenticated-proxy user events.

system Performs accounting for all system-level events not associated with users, such as reloads.

    network Runs accounting for all network-related service requests, including SLIP1 , PPP2 , PPP NCPs3 , and ARAP4 .

exec Runs accounting for EXEC shell session. This keyword might return user profile information such as what is generated by the autocommand command.

connection Provides information about all outbound connections made from the network access server, such as Telnet, LAT5 , TN3270, PAD6 , and rlogin.

commands Runs accounting for all commands at the specified privilege level. Valid privilege level entries are integers from 0 through 15.

Failed the exam today with a 7XX. Had 1 new drag and drop question that I did not see here or anywhere else. It had to do with AAA accounting: auth-proxy, commands, exec, network, connection, and resource.

Labs were EIGRP Stub and OSPF (router names and IP addresses were different, but same concept). Had the EIGRP Evaluation Simulator with the same questions as here.

Hoping to retest in two weeks once I study some more.

@MisterPaul7 sorry to hear that you failed the exam. Quick question, did you sign up to the premium section on this site ? If so , was it helpful?

  47. RE: IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link Sim
    January 10th, 2019

Please check out the ospf virtual sim lab comments on page 2 to see update about sim during actual test only showing ipv4 addresses between r2 and r3 (with no ipv6 addresses or translation configured and no ability during the test to configure ipv6 or any translation). More than likely this is just a mistake that cisco made, but has no affect on whether or not you can successfully complete the sim/lab (remember, this is not the real ios when you take the test).

New “AAA Accounting” drag & drop:

    Answer:

    1. Auth-proxy: It returns information about hosts using proxy service
    2. Commands: It returns information about individual EXEC commands and permissions associated with a privilege level.
    3. Connection: It returns information about outbound communications from the network access server
    4. Exec: It returns information about user EXEC terminal sessions with the network access server
    5. Network: It returns information about SLIP, PPP and ARA sessions.
    6. Resources: It returns information about calls that have passed and failed user authentication

    January 10th, 2019

@GAP yes, I am a premium member and think that it is VERY helpful. Best $15 you will ever spend. My membership goes until 1/25 so I am planning to take the test again in two weeks. These next two weeks, I am planning to keep on going through all the multiple choice questions on the site everyday. I feel that easily 90% of the questions from my exam today are here. The “AAA Accounting” drag and drop definitely got me today and something I know was not covered here in the past. I hate that they don’t tell you what questions you got wrong, not the answers, just the questions you lost points on because at the end and even right now I feel like I passed. I failed by 86 points.
