    Hi all,

    – Today I passed 8**.
    – Most are from July Dump.
    – LABS are PBR, OSPF EIGRP DISTRIBUCION, OSPF EVALUATION SIM.
    – In OSPF EIGRP DISTRIBUCION, delay metric is changed in R3.
    – For OSPF EVALUATION SIM, The R1-R3 link OSPF timer values changed to 10,40,40
    – All the best for the exam.

    August 23rd, 2019

    for OPSF Evaluation SIM.

We are not allowed to use show running-command . Are the running configuration were posted with question ?

    Please answer .

    Thanks

  10. @harry
    August 23rd, 2019

No, you need to get all the information from the show ip ospf commands that are available.

  11. Ayman > @harry
    August 23rd, 2019

Some questions needs show running-command to be answered like the below :

How old is the Type 4 LSA from Router 3 for area 1 on the router R5 based on the output you have examined?
    A. 1858
    B. 1601
    C. 600
    D. 1569

I know that we should use “show ip ospf database” but to get R3 ospf advertised network, we should look to running config . Am I wrong ?

    Thanks

    @KuKuYu

Why is the source address wrong on that IP SLA question? Just labbed it and the echo from the LAN source address is correct in the packets over the serial link. There does not seem to be any issue with the source address configuration.

With no route to the LAN the route table on R1 is below.

    R1#sh ip route
    Codes: L – local, C – connected, S – static, R – RIP, M – mobile, B – BGP
D – EIGRP, EX – EIGRP external, O – OSPF, IA – OSPF inter area
    N1 – OSPF NSSA external type 1, N2 – OSPF NSSA external type 2
    E1 – OSPF external type 1, E2 – OSPF external type 2
    i – IS-IS, su – IS-IS summary, L1 – IS-IS level-1, L2 – IS-IS level-2
    ia – IS-IS inter area, * – candidate default, U – per-user static route
    o – ODR, P – periodic downloaded static route, H – NHRP, l – LISP
    a – application route
    + – replicated route, % – next hop override

Gateway of last resort is 172.30.30.2 to network 0.0.0.0

    S* 0.0.0.0/0 [5/0] via 172.30.30.2
172.20.0.0/16 is variably subnetted, 2 subnets, 2 masks
    C 172.20.20.0/30 is directly connected, Serial2/0
    L 172.20.20.1/32 is directly connected, Serial2/0
172.30.0.0/16 is variably subnetted, 2 subnets, 2 masks
    C 172.30.30.0/30 is directly connected, Serial2/1
    L 172.30.30.1/32 is directly connected, Serial2/1
192.168.1.0/24 is variably subnetted, 2 subnets, 2 masks
    C 192.168.1.0/24 is directly connected, Ethernet0/0
    L 192.168.1.1/32 is directly connected, Ethernet0/0

Putting a route in R2 to be able to reach the R1 LAN gives a route table on R1 of.

    R1#
    *Aug 23 22:43:13.428: %TRACK-6-STATE: 10 ip sla 1 reachability Down -> Up
    R1#sh ip route

  14. Answer?
    August 25th, 2019

The enterprise network WAN link has been receiving several denial of service attacks from both IPv4 and
IPv6 sources. Which three elements can you use to identify an IPv6 packet via its header, in order to filter
    future attacks? (Choose three.)
    A. Traffic Class
    B. Source address
    C. Flow Label
    D. Hop Limit
    E. Destination Address
    F. Fragment Offset

Some say B,D,E some say A,C,D whats the actual answer?

Do I need to focus on Old Questions or MPQ/NUQ5&6 are enough?

  16. Peyman
    August 25th, 2019

    @ Answer?
    A, C, D
because the focus of the question is the difference between ipv4 header and ipv6 header. both ipv4 and ipv6 has source and destination address fields in their header. but only ipv6 has Traffic Class, Flow Label and Hop Limit in its header.

    Answer: A D

    QUESTION 794
Which two statements about configuring OSPFv3 are true? (Choose two)
    A. The OSPFv3 routing process must be explicitly configured and enabled
    B. You can configure only one OSPFv3 instance per link
    C. OSPFv3 requires network statements for IPv6 prefixes
    D. OSPFv3 neighbors must be explicitly identified on NBMA interfaces
    E. OSPFv3 interfaces must be explicitly configured and enabled
    Correct Answer: CD

    August 26th, 2019

    @pleasehelp ,
A,D sounds more correct. With ospfv3 we dont declare prefixes using the network command. Rather, we associate an interface with ospf routing process under interface config mode. The network statement is used for ospfv2.

    see more below:
