    C is wrong it is B ist correct.
    On ASBR you use the summary-address and between Areas (on an ABR) you use area range command for summarization.
    One tricky thing to mention the IP summary-address is used for the EIGRP summarization.

    C. Traffic on the VLAN is load balanced across multiple links

    Correct Answer: D; not B

    In short, this feature allows the switch to monitor the amount of unicast flooding per VLAN and take specified action if flooding exceeds specified amount. Actions can be to syslog, limit or shutdown VLAN – the syslog being the most useful for flood detection.

    Link LSAs (Type 8)–Have local-link flooding scope and are never flooded beyond the link with which they are associated. Link LSAs provide the link-local address of the router to all other routers attached to the link, inform other routers attached to the link of a list of prefixes to associate with the link, and allow the router to assert a collection of Options bits to associate with the network LSA that will be originated for the link.

    In the IPv6 Ospf virtual link sim , do i have to put the below commands incase the loopback is not advertised. Did you people ping between R1 and R4. Please help

    After finishing the configuration don’t forget to ping between R1 and R4 to make sure they work well!

    Now all the configuration was done. But we still cannot ping the IPv6 loopback interface of R4 from R1 because the IPv6 loopback interface of R4 has not been advertised into OSPFv3. But we can check by using the command show ipv6 route on R1. If you can see the IPv6 loopback interface of R4 then you don’t need to do anything else.

    But in real routers, we have to advertise the IPv6 loopback interfaces of R1 & R4 into OSPFv3 to make them appear in the routing tables with the following commands:

    R4(config)#int loopback 0
    R4(config-if)#ipv6 ospf 1 area 54

    R1(config)#int loopback 0
    R1(config-if)#ipv6 ospf 1 area 0

    @burns @Eng.Cisco
    For the IPv6 OSFP virtual link in GNS3 I did use that loopback config and am able to ping R1 from R4.
    R1#show running-config interface loopback 1
    interface Loopback1
    no ip address
    ipv6 address FEC0:11::1/64
    ipv6 ospf 1 area 0
    R4#show running-config interface loopback 1
    interface Loopback1
    no ip address
    ipv6 address FEC0:44::4/64
    ipv6 ospf 1 area 54
    R4#ping ipv6 FEC0:11::1

    Type escape sequence to abort.
    Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to FEC0:11::1, timeout is 2 seconds:
    !!!!!
    Success rate is 100 percent (5/5)

    Remove and no longer can ping.
    R1(config)#interface loopback 1
    R1(config-if)#no ipv6 ospf 1 area 0
    R1(config-if)#end

    R4#ping ipv6 FEC0:11::1

    Type escape sequence to abort.
    Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to FEC0:11::1, timeout is 2 seconds:
    …..
    Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)

    Add back and ping works
    R1(config)#interface loopback 1
    R1(config-if)#ipv6 ospf 1 area 0
    R1(config-if)#end
    R4#ping ipv6 FEC0:11::1

    Type escape sequence to abort.
    Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to FEC0:11::1, timeout is 2 seconds:
    !!!!!
    Success rate is 100 percent (5/5)

    Correct answers are A B C

    “trunk interface can carry traffic for multiple EVNs. To simplify the configuration process, all the subinterfaces and associated EVNs have the same IP address assigned. In other words, the trunk interface is identified by the same IP address in different EVN contexts.
    This is accomplished as a result of each EVN having a unique routing and forwarding table, thereby enabling support for overlapping IP addresses across multiple EVNs.”

    @Switch, so you didnt need to configure the below commands

    R4(config)#int loopback 0
    R4(config-if)#ipv6 ospf 1 area 54

    R1(config)#int loopback 0
    R1(config-if)#ipv6 ospf 1 area 0

    I downloaded all Sims and recreate them using the latest GNS3 version, once you download the files you can see the router configuration with notepad++, and load it to the routers easily, I found an image for C3725 that works perfectly.

    I did the OSPF virtual link and I needed to add the loopback interface to the OSPF, this is using GNS3, I am not sure if on the exam simulation is needed or not, what i will do is try to ping if work cool if not i will add the ipv6 ospf X to each loopback interface.

    I found the IOS here: https://srijit.com/working-cisco-ios-gns3/ is not IOS15v but it work, oyu could use router C7200 and it has IOS15v,

    keep practicing and understanding the concept.

    Hi, I’ve used this website to try and pass the Route but I only got 739 points and needed 760. I am not sure where I went wrong but many of the questions were not in the popular questions area. I think it might have been because I did not look at the new updated questions, I have now looked at these and I have my next exam booked in 1 week. Please could someone advise which drag and drop questions to master. Popular questions show 20 but another section only 13. Thanks everyone and Good Luck. @Eng. Cisco No need to ping the R4’s loopback from R1. Anyway, in the real exam ping won’t work. Including “wr” and “copy run start”. As long as you can see the R4’s loopback then your GOLD!

  44. burns
    January 8th, 2020

    @route
    I think you may be incorrect there the question mentions you know its correct when you can see in show ipv6 route and your able to ping the loopback

  45. MESR
    January 8th, 2020

    @route,

    I agree with @burns, because to see R4 Loopcback on R1 routing table you need to advertise the loopback into OSPF, if not you will never see that route injected into ospf. just go to the GNS3 and fix the virtual-link and with only that R1 still do not see R4 loopback, so the only way to see the loopback injected into R01 routing table is when you advertise it. and after that you will beed to advertise R01 loopback as well so your ping be successful.

    What I can advise is to study the whole document, I was reading only most popular Q and newly updated and it lead me to fail 2 times.
