    Why are there so few questions in each specific topic? Example: Frame Relay page has only several questions. How can I see all of the questions to practice? (I’m a premium member)

    Completely reading all the sections will make you pass.
    Some questions were from outside of the pdf.
    But you will pass if you go through the pdf.

    labs: ospf sim, ospfv6 sim, EIGRP Evaluation Sim.
    D&D: SNMP, AAA, many other. I think I got 5-6 D&D

    Some questions initially we from outside of the pdf.

    @burns @Route @MESR @Eng.Cisco
    It seems to me that in the exam you configure without the loopback config and if the route is not in R1’s route table hence it won’t ping then you need to add the extra loopback config. In my GNS3 setup I am using 6400 routers so an older image then mentioned by MESR.

    @burn i recommended that you have to practice all labs and all D&D.
    Also verify the D&D FR the subinterface is a Multipoint.

    2/3 questions about FR.

    There are some new questions, but if you study the dumps and understand the concepts you will pass

    @Switch In the “real” exam you cannot test the connectivity through ping. I’ve simulated it on my GNS3 before I took the exam last Dec 22, 2019. I can see the R4’s loopback from R1 and I can ping too. But from the real exam, I saw the R4’s loopback from R1 but it won’t allow me to ping. But I still passed.

    Just passed, barely, but a win is a win. Labs: IPV6 OSPF Virtual Link, OSPF simulator. Had the EIGRP EVAL, had to use show ip eigrp 1 topology. AAA drag and drop, not many d & d. if you are a premium member, make sure you look at the extra new questions in 5 &6 that are not on the practice questions. Also spend some time on the composite questions in addition to MPQs. Also there are totally new questions so as they say know the concepts and think through the questions.

  24. bur
    January 9th, 2020

    @itfrguy well done! i’d be happy with a pass doesnt have to be high.

    what process id and area in ospf sim also was virtual lab same as here was you able to ping ipv6 ?

  25. Switch
    January 9th, 2020

    @Route
    In the exam did you have to advertise OSPF on the loopbacks like in GNS3 to get the route from R4 to show up on R1? Seems odd they don’t let you ping test it when I think the question mentions that here but maybe it doesn’t on the exam.

  26. bur
    January 9th, 2020

    @switch

    do you think people are using the ping command and not the ping ipv6 before the ipv6 address? and thats why some are saying it doesn’t work?

  27. MESR
    January 10th, 2020

    @bur

    I didn’t take the exam yet, I had scheduled it for next week, but in GNS3 using #ping or using #ping ipv6, you will no able to ping unless you get advertised both loopback into OSPF.

    maybe in the exam both loopback are already being advertised in OSPF and the issue is only wrong virtual link, so R1 and R4 doesnt have them injected into their routing table.

    in a real scenario, you need to advertise the loopback into OSPF, so everyone that is practicing this LAB in GNS3 or any other simulator, will need to advertised the loopback.

    but as i mention, before, you will need to see what is the config in the exam, fix the virtual-link issue, check both routing tables and test if you still not see it, the last will be advertise both loopback.

    hope this help to everyone.

    I think it was area 4, no not recall the process ID, and IP address was different same 0.0.0.3 though. All the rest was the same as here. I did not advertise OSPF on the loopbacks. I did not ping. Did a show ipv6 route on 1.

  29. Route
    January 10th, 2020

    @Switch

    in GNS3, we need to advertise the Loopback into OSPF. But in the real exam, Loopback’s has already been advertise, but just to make sure, always run your “show” commands to verify. If I can remember it correctly, the REQUIREMENT on the exam is ONLY to make sure that R4’s loopback is learned and displayed on R1’s routing table. Therefore, you need to add virtual-links on R3 and R2 and remove the unecessary virtual link config from R4.

    LABS: EIGRP SIM, OSPF SIM, OSPFv6 Virtual-link
    DRAG&DROP: NPTv6-NAT64, IPv6, Config frame relay,NAT Process (Step 1 to 4)

    I studied all from premium membership in here, that´s enough
    I had over 10-12 new questions

    Don’t listen to all those bullshit comments about fail. Those comments will just make you nervous. I just study Most pouplar question, New update Q5,6 only still got 913 score today. I don’t even check on all the questions under “ROUTE 300-101” category. My advices just study those 3 locations by understanding on all questions not by heart, confirm 100% pass. You need to understand the question not by heart because some new questions they just convert from drag&drop to multiple choice and some combine concept. Those multiple new question are just taken from those 3 locations. So study the question with concept, not just memorize the answer. All sim the same except some IP address changes. OSPF sim, IPv6 Virtuallink, EIGRP Eval. Trust me you will be fine, thz digitaltut.

    Hi, I got an Ospf lab in the exam similar to the one over here, the question did not ask to make area Stub or Totally Stub, the question just asked to ping R3 from R1 with R2 in the middle.

    Anyone experience a question like this in the exam.

    Area should not receive any inter-area routes, except the default route.

  45. Route
    January 11th, 2020

    @Switch @Burns

    Agree that it needs to be advertise. In the “actual exam” there is no need to advertise or to add a Network statement to in R4 to advertise it’s Loopback since it has already been advertise. All you have to do is to fix the virtual-links in order for it to communicate to Area 0. Btw, are you a premium member here? Mine already expired, but you can check the virtual-links command to fix the issue. You can try to simulate it to GNS3 if you need to practice, I can send you my simulated lab if you want.

    Question about the new certifications. I already passed the switch CCNP going to take the route in 2 weeks. When I pass, I will get the new Enterprise associate cert. Will I have 3 years to take a one of the specialty exam to receive the Enterprise cert?

    @cableguy

    good question i’m in same boat take roue in couple weeks already have switch we both have time to do troubleshoot this site is supposed to be great for troubleshoot 2 mates have done itin 3/4 week before of study

  49. Kazy
    January 11th, 2020

    @CableGuy and @ab

    Yes, if you have full ccnp r&s then you get full ccnp enterprise. There is a tool on cisco site for certification migration that explains everything. I have to recertify before 25th and when I pass it will convert to ccnp enterprise plus specialized certification on enterprise. You will still have 3 years to do continued education taking any professional level certification.

    On the OSPF v3 virtual link: Do you have to remove the virtual-link on R4-R3 and just add the virtual-link betrween R2-R3. Or add R2-R3 links and keep the R3-R4?
