Can someone please clarify in EIGRP Eval SIM what is the correct answer for the Advertised distance:

Is it 1810944 or 333056? Its a little confusing reading the explanation in the SIM page.

  8. Designated
    February 3rd, 2020

Oil3h, the correct answer is 333056 because the question is about Advertised Distance and you can see in “show ip eigrp topology” [1810944/333056] = [Metric/Advertised Distance]. While the “show ip route” is Administrative Distance (AD) and METRIC [90/1810944].

Hi guys, mine is done today, just got over the line with 8xx marks, majority of questions were same or similar what you see here but a lot of them were reworded along with 8-10 new, specially NTP, OSPFv3 questions, none of them I have seen here, a few PPPoE questions but all from here.
    Labs were
    OSPF Evaluation Simulator – same
OSPF sim – with names, area ID, OSPF process ID and IP addresses changed
IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link Simulator – same
    D&Ds
    From D&D1 section – Q1 IPV6 NAT, Q5 Frame Relay, Q10 AAA
From MPQ – Q91 Frame Relay LMI
    From NUQ5 – Q1 NAT64
    From NUQ 6 – Q38 SNMP
    Other questions were:
    NUQ5 – 14, 22, 24, 38, 46
    NUQ 6 – 40
    MPQs – 177, 199, 10 (Similar), 188 (Similar), 2, 49
There was a question about RIPng – Answer is UDP Port 521 blocked by Firewall/ ACL

That’s all I can remember now, I would say that you will definitely need to have Networktut memebership to prepare, it will take you close to the passing line and if you get some of the concepts clear (Such as EVN, VRF, NAT64, NPT, DHCPv6, OSPFv3, NTP at least) then you will certainly pass your exam. Finally many thanks networktut.

passed last week. about 10-12 new questions.

lab: ipv6 ospf, ospf sim, eigrp eval
d&d: 2 AAA (both from MPQ)
studied only MPQ, NUQ5, NUQ6 and drag/drops. ipv6 and eigrp eval were exactly the same. ospf sim ip addresses/areas were different but same principle. No surprises.

Thank you to digitaltut, membership was worth it. good luck to all

-EIGRP Evaluation Sim – Same everything
-IPv6 OSPF Virtual Link Sim – Same
-OSPF Sim – Different IP adeddress (192.168.9.5/30 & 192.168.9.6/30, network address becomes 192.168.9.4, use this on both routers. Full command will be: network 192.168.9.4 0.0.0.3 area 44), OSPF process ID (84), Area (44). You should be able to ping loopback of Lynaic Router from router Portland. The router names have also changed.

    Hello..

Guys anyone can guide here about the OCT pdf file. Is it enough to do pages 1 to 179 (NUQ part 6 and MPQs). Atfter page 179 the Part 5 questions started.

  33. carlos
    February 4th, 2020

    @Spidy
Which type of address does OSPFv3 use to form neighbor adjacencies and to send LSAs?
    A. unicast IPv6 addresses
    B. link-local addresses
    C. multicast address FF02::5
    D. unicast IPv4 addresses
    Answer: C

    Explanation
OSPFv3 uses the well-known IPv6 multicast addresses, FF02::5 to communicate with neighbors. The FF02::5 multicast address is known as the AllSPFRouters address. All
OSPFv3 routers must join this multicast group and listen to packets for this multicast group. The OSPFv3 Hello packets are sent to this address.
Note: All other routers (non DR and non BDR) establish adjacency with the DR and the BDR and use the IPv6 multicast address FF02::6 (known as AllDRouters address) to send LSA updates to the DR and BDR.
The answer ―link-local addresses‖ is also correct too. The reason is OSPFv3 routers use link-local address (FE80::/10) on its interfaces (as the source address) to send Hello packets to FF02::5 (as the destination address). So in fact this question is not clear and there are two correct answers here.
Note: The two IPv6 multicast addresses FF02::5 and FF02::6 have link-local scope.

    Question 44
What type of address OSPFv3 uses to form adjacency and send updates?
    A. FF02::5
    B. link-local
    C. IPv4 address
    D. IPv6 address multicast
    Answer: B

    I passed today. 8xx

Lab: EIGRP Eval, IPV6 OSPF Virtual, OSPF Sim.
5 D&D from Premium (pay attention to all the d&d on Digitaltut)
Study MPQ, NUQ5, NUQ6 as well

Premium Account on this platform is enough for anyone to pass the exam. Though I saw about 5 quiz not on Digitaltut but I was able to handle them with my ExamLab dumps. I will say you should read Cisco materials to understand the concept. I actually combined that with Digitaltut Premium and VCE ExamLab dumps.

    All the best.

    Hi,
passed, I remember two questions I didnt see here.

    a) NTP:
Picture with information that NTP Status: Clock is unsynchronized and date was wrong. Stratum is 16.
    Answers were something like this:
    1) Date is wrong.
    2) NTP is not enabled
    3) Current device is Master.
    …do not remember rest.

    b) RIPv2 topology, 3 routers in triangle topology. What command to use so we can access upper router via longer path (from R1 –> R2—>R3).
    R3

    R1 R2

About OSPF sim. Tolpology same as OSPF sim, but no stub or totally stub configuration. You need to ping from Portland to Lynaic.
You need to configure networks under OSPF on Amani and Portland.

    Good luck

Passed 300-101 today with 851 score
Sims- OSPF, IPV6 VL, EIGRP Simlet
D&D- had 6-8 of them all from this site. However the wording on 2 of them was a little different.
Had IPV6 VL Sim as my first question, almost lost my mind when that happened. SIM’s are the same as here with slightly different Network address and different OSPF Process ID’s.
If you study Most Popular Questions, New parts 5 & 6 and Composite quizzes you will be fine.
Did see about 3-5 new questions NOT on this site.

I was trying to practice on D&D in link provided on digitut, unfortunately I found in some question they gave false for not arrangement in sequence
    for Example :

    NAT64: (Answer in D&D)
    + Use Network-specific prefix
    + Modify session during translation

but if i put in different sequence

    NAT64: (Answer in practice)
    + Modify session during translation
    + Use Network-specific prefix

how they calculate in exam ?

Passed today. I got the IPv6 OSFP sim, EIGRP Eval, OSPF sim, EIGRP Stub.
Contained mostly questions from NUQ5, NUQ 6 and MPQ which is what i studied as per what others have said. Some questions were different but concept was the same so read and understand the explanations and you will be right.
@Oscar Premium gives you access the all the above so $19 is worth it. Not much time left so better hurry.
