I took exam very recently (do not want to mention the date ;) and passed it successfully after 5 months of hard work.
Thanks a lot to Digitaltut for this platform and the friends who shared their experience.

I used CBT nuggets, Cisco ENCOR official cert guide book to learn and then finally practised hard all
the questions from Digitaltut ENCOR v1.1 Part 1 to Part 7 as well as old ENCOR Questions Part 4 to Part 11 by getting premium member.
Premium member was worth it.

Do practise both new v1.1 and old ENCOR Questions Part 4 to Part 11 too.
As the questions appeared for me were from both ENCOR v1.1 Part 1 to Part 7 and old ENCOR Questions Part 4 to Part 11.

Now, I would also like to share.
– Total 60 questions (exam started with 6 labs and then 54 Multiple choice question (MCQ), drag and drop)
– All 6 labs were from here === Lab Sims for ENCOR v1.1 ===

eBGP neighbor-sim-2 with address family
OSPF Summarization Sim 2 to adv networks without using network statement and /18 summary route

except 1 new question, all 53 questions were from ENCOR v1.1 Part 1 to Part 7 and ENCOR Questions Part 4 to Part 11.
1 New question was something as below:
which channel can you reuse in 5 5ghz in high density environment? Answers were like 20, 40 …

For below lab all valid. Please practice them.

I always read the comments here, and everybody says the labs are exactly the same as the exam. You can also read the earlier comments.

Hello all ,
Passed today, I studied all from here. There are new questions which are not in V1.1 part1 to part7 but may be they are on the old ENCO Qs. I just guessed/had some luck in most of them.

LABS are below:
1- Rapid PVST+ and LACP Sim “onnly 2 ports and PO channel No is 20, the ports were configured in access and one of the was shut donw. Task 2 to make sure SW 20 for vlan 20 is always the root ”

2- eBGP Neighbor Sim 2 -> Identical

3- OSPF Summarization Sim 2 -> Identical

4- NetFlow Sim and Netflow Sim 2-> Flow exporter was alread configured, configure session 7 to monitor SW 1, Configure a basic IP SLA for SSH on R1 to ping PC1 + Configure Ip sla for http

5- Access-list & CoPP Sim -> identical with SSH and Police 10000

6- VRF Configuration Sim 2 -> Finance Vrf was already configured

Total 60 questions.

MY RECCOMMENDATION IS TO STUDY/MEMORIZE THE QUESTIONS VERY WELL.

I really dislike all of the SD-WAN questions. It’s very difficult to remember all of the directions, north, south, east and west. I know SD-WAN is the future but I really miss the good old days of the CCNP.

SD-WAN can be labbed in EVE-NG. Try it out. It’s not more difficult than learning things like ‘control plan’, ‘data plane’, ‘management plane’ in traditional routing. You find the latter easier because you know traditional networking. Apply the same learning focus to SD-WAN

SD-WAN is being widely adopted across the industry. The same goes for network automation. Enterprises want network engineers who can work with everything, not just CLI jockeys. THe old CCNP was quite outdated and I’m glad the new one is in line with modern enterprise networking.

I was amazed about the exam, this supposed to be a R&S exam, but the reality is that my exam was:
50% Wireless
25% SDN,SDAccess, SDWAN, Automation, etc
15% JSON, Python,XML, YANG
5% Services, SNMP, EEM, Syslog, ACL,CoPP
5% R&S

54 MCQ + 6 LABS

Did you read the old questions? (part 4-11)

passed today
spent 1 month preparing
i mastered v1.1 as most Q from there
than spent week on v1.0 as had 2 or 3 Q from there
also had 4 questions from question quizzes
if you do composite this includes all: quizzes and v1.1 and v1.0

spent 1 days on labs — but I’m comfortable with Cli and labs are short an easy if you know what they are about — pretty much CCNA level
EVE-NG was very helpful to get you upto keyboard ninja speed

labs are all here as mentioned above — with some little twists

be advised for last 5 years there is no one valid dump – don’t get scammed if someone offers you valid set — it does not exist. you need to go though whole lot to secure the pass
cisco created pull of around 1000 questions and pull questions from while you login to exam
that means that 2 people siting same time same exam will have different questions
this pull gets updated every 3months by about 10% ( that is why you can see from time to time few new Qs never seen

@Jonasbrothers It hasn’t been calling Routing and Switching since 2020. They are clear with what kind of exam the ENCOR is. Even so, you had enough R&S labs. I agree Wireless is egregious but the industry is moving rapidly towards Automation and Orchestration. If you want a Route exam, there’s always ENARSI.

I have 60 MCQ, about 7 to 8 new questions from v1.1.
Not sure are they from v1.0.

Labs I have:
eBGP Neighbor Sim 2 (Very similar)
OSPF Summarization Sim 2 (Very similar), using /18 for area 40
LACP & Root Bridge Sim, using different PO number
NetFlow Sim, destination is missing instead of udp 2055, monitor session 7, SLA for http get
Access-list & CoPP Sim, CoPP for SSH
VRF Configuration Sim 2, using vrf FINANCE

I only went through part 1-7 Qs and there was 8-10 new Qs which I checked couple of them that I remembered and there were from part 4-11 – so I think if you prepare just 1-7 and all labs you will pass it but if you have time and go through part 4-11 then will see very few new Qs.
